Wow! I wish we could have played when we were younger. ( What's wrong with politics? )
I dunno if you have been able to handle me, even if you are at least two years older than I am--unless you were just as wild and feisty as I was.
(DON'T YOU DARE GET ME STARTED. )
Well I did do stuff on purpose so I could get a timeout for fun ( Then again, the daycare was at my house and most of the time I was following my friend's lead. ) so maybe? Of course if you got to much out of hand, I could either hit you with a toy or go tell an adult you were being annoying. ( jk ) ( Ok ok I won't... )

LOL. I suppose you could. I don't why the thought of you hitting me with a toy is cracking me up so much. I think my face in pink from laughing so hard. Hmm. . . If I were six years old, feisty, rebellious, and rough, and you were eight, slightly rebellious, following your friend's lead most of the time, and was armed with a toy block, and the two of us got into a brawl, who would win?
There was a look on his face Zephyr had not seen in a long time. She still didn't understand what it ment though. Was he Serious? Sad? Prideful? She had no clue. Her father turned around to face her and asked, "Did you bring the knife I gave you?" "Yeah. " replied Zephyr taking the little bag that held it out of her pocket. Her father took it and pulled the small knife out gently. It's blade shined in the remaining daylight that made it though the trees. Her father spoke as he examined it. "This is a special knife, there aren't many like it in world. I'd like you to keep it close whenever you can. I know you want to be a ninja. And that means you'll have to face many things. The danger will be high, and some foes will be more dangerous than others. But maybe this knife will help you with some of the most dangerous. You see," he pointed to the symbols on it. "there are a good many who know these symbols. But there are few who actually understand them." he said "So what happens if someone sees the symbols? What do they mean? "asked Zephyr as her father handed the knife back to her along with it's bag. Her father locked thoughtful for a moment and then said, "The reaction you will get will vary from each person. The important thing is that it will most likely keep bad people away. But I would hide it from good people if were you, they might get the wrong idea." "But that doesn't answer my question, what does the symbols mean?" Zephyr questioned, her father looked at her for a moment and then said "I can't tell you. It's better that you don't know. " He said " But why?" Zephyr asked again "that doesn't explain- " Zephyr's father cut in. " I would tell you if the world was different, these are dangerous times and no one even knows it. " "But the world has always been dangerous. That's what ninja are for, isn't it? To make it not dangerous." said Zephyr putting the knife back in the bag. "To make it less dangerous, yes. But there are dangers even ninja don't see. Kinds that you think are the stuff of stories and legend. Even though they live and carry out their deeds every day. " said her father Zephyr could see he was changing the subject. And could also see he wasn't going to tell her anything except for more about how the world is so dangerous. And he always did that when she asked to many questions. It was strange though, her father talked as if he knew the danger well. Had he been a ninja once? Maybe he wasn't an elemental master like uncle Gravis. But maybe he fought to save Ninjago, or even other realms! Zephyr couldn't help it, she had to ask now. "Dad, were you? Did you ever? You know, fight? To save Ninjago?" she asked, this was going to be her last question, and she hoped she'd get something out of it. He father looked thoughtful very thoughtful this time. He finally said "Not exactly, not for Ninjago, for family." "Isn't that the same thing? " asked Zephyr, Oops, asking to many questions again. She thought. " No, it's not. When you fight for Ninjago, you fight for eveyone. When you fight for family, you only fight for those you care about, or who are related to you. " answered her father. "Alright."said Zephyr, So he could have still been a ninja, right? She thought. "What do you say we head back to the bunker for supper?" Asked her father "Sure." replied Zephyr, They both walked towards the bunker in silence. Zephyr pondering all she had leaned and fingered at the small bag that held the knife in her pocket.

O.o Whoa. I didn't see that coming. Now I've got a bunch of questions; What do the symbols on Zephyr's knife say? Is it in the ancient language? Was Zephyr's father a ninja? Was he anyone we know? Are there still thylacines out there? ( )
Nicely done, NFM! I am quite intrigued!
No, seriously. I gotta know the answers. *grabs Zephyr's dad's leg* Tell meh your secrets, pleeezzzzzz, Mistah Mann!

Why, because of their threat to agriculture at the time?
Not just the agriculture; they harmed the sheep too.
Well, yeah, but to me they were just being animals doing what they were meant to do; hunting to provide for themselves and their. . . cubs? Kits? Joeys? Hang on. . . *looks it up* . . . OK, pups. Providing for themselves and their pups. *shrug*

Well, it hurt the poor sheep farmers.
I know; I'm just saying that they were just being animals doing their thing. Anyway, the growth of human establishments probably shrunk the wild territory in Australia, and the thylacines found themselves forced to find food closer to the people.
