Yeah! When it's all in your head you know nobody can see it, and it's quiet and you don't have to worry too much about your ideas. But then when it's on screen or on paper, anyone can see it. I mean, what of our parents read this stuff? It's not bad material -- quite fun and healthy, really, especially yours -- but at the thought of my mother or father reading what I've written I suddenly feel anxious.
( Thanks! Yours is great too! ) Same! Like my mom will be like " I should read your story sometime" and I'm like " Sure. " but in my head I'm like " What is she going to think!?!!"
(Aw, thanks! ) Holy cow, the same thing happened to me!! My mom caught me typing on my laptop once, and she suddenly asked. "Could I read your story sometime?" I blushed and mumbled. "Ummmmmmm. . . . No." I try not to type in front of either one of my parents too often. Maybe we should write quick decoy-stories and say that's what we've been working on. They could be like random weird kid stories that don't really make a lot of sense. That oughta scare away the parents!

( You're welcome. ) Wow, that's funny! I'm not sure if could make myself write that. I do show my mom my sketch book every time I finish one, and I do get kinda embarrassed/ nervous every time she she sees one of the more violent or romantic drawings. But lately I've been able too do more of those kind of drawings on my phone since she doesn't see those... And back to the writing, violence is kinda another thing I get nervous about her seeing, but that more goes for drawing. Actually probably all my writing I get nervous about her ( or my dad ) seeing, since I didn't like it when they were proof reading my letter for the mission trip I'm going on, and now I have to write it differently. But it's kinda mostly the fiction romance sences that I'm worried about people seeing.

So you're rather restricted when it comes to being exposed to violence, huh? Heh, I hope you'll succeed in keeping your more private creations hidden well, then. That's odd. What didn't they like about it? (And you're going on a mission's trip? How cool!! ) Yeah, I know what you mean. I can feel proud and ashamed of what I write at the same time, and yet there's nothing I'd want to change about it. Not usually, anyway.
Duty, if I need to wake up my siblings as well, I wake up easier then if I just need to wake up myself. I feel it's my job to wake them up on days that I say I will. Which is usually when we wake up to watch TV or play Legos or video games when the younger kids are still asleep. Which we've been doing a lot lately. ( except I have been having trouble again since we haven't been making plans to wake up early these past couple days. )
"Oh right, here I'll show you, just copy me." Jadyn replied. He showed her all the basic stretches as he did them, and she did the same. It was no more then ten minutes before Sensai himself came out his room. Jadyn was almost finished showing Zephyr how to do the warm ups, and Lisa, who had already finished, went to the kitchen and garabed four packages of something. " I see you have all warmed up already this morning, very good. Now we'll eat and then go on that endurance building hike I mentioned yesterday." Said Sensei. Lisa handed everyone a package with colorful labeling on it. Zephyr was confused until she saw Sensei, Lisa and Jadyn ripping them open to reveal a bar of granola on the inside. Oh! It's food! That- sort of makes sense. Zephyr ripped hers open too, trying to make it look like she was used to doing so. She wasn't used to it though, being raised in jungle, and being secretive about it, means you rarely encounter food packaged in such ways. After they had eaten, Zephyr was unsure about what to do with the rapper. Lisa must have noticed, because she derected Zephyr to the trash can soon after.
The hills near the dojo, later in the morning.
Zephyr lagged behind the others as they hiked onward. he was more used to hiking then she was when she left Hiroshi's Labyrinth, but it was still agonizing. She tried to hid her suffering from Jadyn, Lisa and Sensei though, she didn't want them to think she couldn't handle being a ninja. She feared she was failing at this though, every time she'd fall to far behind she'd somehow find a bit of energy she'd use to catch up the others. And then she'd lag behind again... They finally stopped on a grassy hill overlooking an unatural looking sand court. Sensei allowed them to rest for a brief moment, Zephyr, now on her knees, wiped the sweat off her forehead, the wetness sticking to her hand moments before it dried. Jadyn was sweating as well, but Lisa wasn't, the two of them didn't look quite as wore out as Zephyr was, they were probably more used to this kind of thing. Sensei motioned for the three of them to fallow him down to the sand court.

I'm interested to see Lloyd acting as a sensei. . .

Kinda. Me too. My dad just wanted me to change it up to be a bit more professional since it's a letter that I send to people to ask if they want to help fund the trip. ( Yeah. I'll be going to Nicaragua in June, so I'll be a bit inactive when preparing for the trip and when I actually go. I had an idea that maybe I could log what I do every day so you guys can see. Maybe on Finding Friendships or something. Since I will Wi-Fi . ) Exactly.

No school?
I'm graduated and the other kids don't start school till 10:00am.

Good, because we've got a lot of boring training parts coming up.

Ooh, hiking! I love hiking!
That makes sense, though, that Zephyr wouldn't hike in the jungle.
"Today we will be working on basic kicks and punches out here, later we will do the same in the dojo. Now Zephyr has a lot to learn, so today I focus on teaching her what you two already know in this area. And the two of you can spend so time practicing what you already know. Zephyr, you follow me over here were we'll be out of their way. " Sensei stood a few yards away from her and asked " Can you show me a basic punch?" " Yes Sensei " she replied throwing a weak unbalanced punch. Sensei made a face like someone had tried to use a table spoon to cut a melon. " Was that good?... or...? " " I'll be honest, I don't remember the last time I saw a worse punch. However it was much better than I did in my first training session." He said chuckling to himself. Zephyr didn't think it was so funny though, she must have made a face because he said. "Alright alright, I'll show you how to do it right. " Sensei showed her how to put her into a proper fist and how to stand while punching. He also showed her how to pivot her leg, and do the punch in one fast smooth motion. Then she tried it again a couple times. " Much better. Now I'll teach the rest of basic moves. " He taught her the jab punch, the front kick, the side kick and the round kick. By the end of the lesson Zephyr felt more powerful then ever before, of course she had messed up with half the moves, but it was more then she knew before she had learned all this. She was sweaty though, and sore. "Hey how'd you like your first lesson Zephyr?" It was Lisa, who walked over to her smiling. Jadyn was close behind her, the tips of his red hair wet with sweat from his forehead, but his expression was relaxed and he had a grin on his face. Lisa strangely had no traces of sweat. Then they all hiked back to the dojo. Zephyr was surprised that it was only lunch time, because she felt as if it must be later in the day. After lunch Sensei sent Lisa and Jadyn out to the garden to practice their form, while Sensei stood inside with Zephyr to teach her some of the concepts of a form.

I learned that stuff in karate.
Lisa's a robot confirmed. Oh wait, you already said that she was. Has Zephyr forgotten?

Ah, that makes sense. (That sounds so awesome! I hope you'll have a fantastic time! Oh, I think a lot of users would like to hear about your trip -- if you still get WiFi where you live, you could totally do that! )
