From the page you linked, it seems like neither of them did.

Ehm... you wish. Even if we did, we never did that to our own citizens. The vast majority of blood on our hands comes from war, and I've specifically excluded war from the USSR's count.
Okay maybe not are own, but that to is pretty large if you want to count the civil war to, plus the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Vietnam alone top more than that.
Barely over half a million casualties in the Civil War. Stalin got rid of eighty times that number.

He also said the Old or Davidic Covenant had been replaced, he told us what to worship with, Instruments are best left out, this is surprising because I don't believe The Orthodox Church uses them.
... You mean the Mosaic covenant? The one with Moses, that never mentions instruments? Most Orthodox churches don't use instruments, but again I'm not seeing where Jesus banned music.

Hey, we have a coat of arms, too. That's pretty cool.
Yes it is, maybe were royalty or something.
It's not a maybe for me. I know that I'm descended from nobility/royalty on both sides.

His part of the bargain was to ensure democratic elections and freedom. Those didn't happen.
USA and Nato also promised not to expand into warsaw pact and ussr countries, but they did. If Nato hadn't expanded there would be no crisis in crimea or else where, because Russians would have fealt safer. Why do people support Putin, because they are scared of the 1000's of weapons and Nato's ridiculous budget. They are worried that if the usa wants to they will steam roll Russia, and take Moscow.
We never expanded into Warsaw Pact countries for as long as the Warsaw Pact lasted. In fact, we wouldn't have been allowed to. When we tried to help rebuild countries devastated by WWII, the USSR prevented those countries from even attending the conference, let alone accepting.
I think that's a ridiculous notion, since all we have been putting our budget toward is preventing Russia from trying to conquer Europe. We don't want Moscow.
So earlier you said Crimea was about ethnicity, and now it's national security. What will the reason for Crimea be tomorrow?

the 49 miilion attributed to Stalin isn't really right, did he give the orders to purpsoefelly kill 49 million people, no. He ordered the execution of 21 people. 20 million died in the war. The rest was bad policy, that is like blaming every death (that's not from old age) that happened between 2000-2007 as Bush's because idk, bad health reform or lack of proper safety or what not.
Like I said, that number leaves out WWII casualties. The number would be closer to 60-70 million if I included them.

We aren't conquering neighboring countries to put distance between our enemies and Washington.
No but you overthrew democratic governements and put usa puppets all over the Americas and other places.
*Looks at a map of South America and Africa and Asia and the Middle East*
I'm not seeing any regimes that support us except for Saudi Arabia, which doesn't really support us but they like our oil money. Oh! But I am seeing Iran, China, North Korea, Cuba, Nicaragua...
Of the regimes we've toppled, none of them were democratically-elected. These include Taliban-controlled Afghanistan and Iraq, the most prominent regimes we've toppled.

Religion just means belief. If someone believes something, anything, that is their religion. If someone thought that the world was a giant gumball created by Elvis, even if they didn't write a book about it, it would still be their religion.
It really depends on how you define religion.
Well, "religious" can actually mean anything you do regularly, especially something you can't do without. The word comes from a root that means "binding" or "obligated." So really you could call eating every day your "religion."
I'm a fan of many of his accomplishments, but he was apparently a very immoral person. I can't get over my new knowledge of his Bible-editing. He has joined Abe Lincoln in my list of people who are regarded as heroes but I have learned otherwise.
I agree. He was also a huge hypocrite, like how he hated how Hamilton ran the bank, but used the same system to buy Louisiana, or how he hated slavery but owned slaves.
...Which comes from the Russian tale of Saint Nicholas.
No this predates Him with stuff with Trees, strange.
Again, the trees are an example of a pagan ritual ending and being replaced with a Christian one. People who worshiped Thor would say his symbol was an oak tree, and there was one tree they would never let anyone cut down. But when a Christian missionary came, he cut it down to prove that Thor wasn't real, and told them they could use a pine tree instead, as a symbol for Christ, because it stays green all year and it points to heaven. So, again, it was a pagan practice, but it was "rededicated" to Christ.
