I don't think Christians in those places like their governments, because theirs aren't designed to be as free as ours. Do you think they could enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness there? Well they can do it much better here, because America is literally designed for that.
So all governmental institutions are immediately Satanic because Satan roams about the earth causing trouble? Satan does not rule the world, he has considerable influence, but God is way too smart to let Satan rule the world. After all this is God's world, not Satan's. Governmental institutions are flawed, but that does not mean they are automatically evil. Things do not have to be perfect to avoid being evil.
How can you prove Satan rules the world? Does everything occur exactly as Satan wills? Because no, Satan loses left and right because in choosing evil, that is what he has set himself up for.
I'd also like to chime in and say that God commanded us to obey government authorities unless they go directly against his Law.
Exactly, but does it say worship those who don't bother you?
While I'll agree that many churches practice and believe things stated to be completely the opposite of godly in the Bible, I don't think the religion as a whole has been corrupted.
And I really don't think that was what Tweed was talking about. He seemed to mean in context with the government.
Liberals are the same, were not to worship Governments.
Well what about the Tyrants we put in? Freedom is nice but North Korea doesn't get you in the same mistake as many here. Are you Familiar with what the Founding Fathers believed? This is Satan's masterpiece, he couldn't destroy the Church so he joined it in a way, he corrupted it and that's what we have now.
1.What tyrants?
2. No, North Korea just oppresses freedom and tries to crush Religion and indoctrinate people and make them worship the Supreme Leader. Yes, I know that oppression can help Christianity, but it can also hurt it sometimes if the oppression goes to an insane extent, and in any and all cases the oppression is still wrong. And, a lack of oppression can help Christianity, such as the fact that America has been able to send missionaries all over the entire planet.
3. Yes. I am familiar with what they believed. What exactly is your point?
4. How exactly did he corrupt it? Yes, there are a lot of people who don't believe the truth (and personally I'm against the whole institutional church model and think we should strive for what the new Testament actually says) but you keep bringing this up in context with the US government, when as far as I can see they have nothing to do with it.
1. well theirs, Ferdinand Marcos, Suharto, Manuel Noriega, Saddam Hussein, We helped Osama Bin Laden during the Soviet war in Afghanistan. Theres plenty more but my point is made. 2. But North Korea may not have peace but it does gain Faith and hope in the future to come. 3. If you do would you still say their all nice and Christian? 4. By Mixing Church with State, Constantine became a Christian, doubtful he really was, he was closer to Arianism. soon "Christians" join the army, serve in Government.
Far from it, Religion is actually no something Communism has, I mean true Christians who are persecuted in North Korea, do they join the Army? do they swear allegience to the Kim's? Also Tell me another country that Christians swear allegiance to.
North Korea is a very unique form of "communism" that actually adheres to juche. A core part of juche is the complete obedience to (and practical worship of) the Kim family. So yes, Christians in North Korea do swear allegiance to the Kims if they wish to continue their existence. Those that don't tend not to exist for long (and plenty choose that path).
Countries Christians swear allegiance to? Well, any Christian who joins a military or enters a government position must swear an oath of allegiance to that country. Commonwealth countries have citizens specifically pledge their allegiance to the monarch. In the feudal era, everyone swore an oath to their superior on the feudal ladder, whether that be a knight, noble, or king. Since this mode of feudalism was practiced in Europe specifically, it dealt with almost the entirety of the Christian world. In almost every country, newly naturalized citizens swear an oath to that country; this does not exclude Christians.
Well its not really Communist anyway, but the situation is very similar to Decius. Christians who join are wrong but that's another story, I won't swear allegiance to the flag, fortunately I have that right but it might get taken one day, in Medieval Times, Christianity was in hiding from the RCC who are Heretics.
The Beginning of Job will help you understand a little more, also who cares about this life? We will be in Heaven and what does are lives on Earth have anything to do with Heaven, its good if you don't like your Government, You'll have no confusion on on passages of the Bible.
If you really don't care about this life too much, why are you so insistent on attacking America, which is so temporary?
... "What do our lives on Earth have anything to do with heaven?" Really? How about "everything"? You know you're not allowed in unless you do the right things on this Earth, right?
America is Evil and I attack it and what it stands for because it fools many Christians also. Are lives here don't matter but yes we have to do the right things on Earth, although i would really phrase it that way and in a sense we already are there.

Okay, but everyone else is also evil and I only see you attacking America.

Out of curiosity, if the Catholic church are heretics, to what belief do you adhere? The only churches that existed contemporary with or before the Roman church are Orthodox, and being Orthodox myself I can quickly tell that you're not. If you belong to any form of Protestant denomination -- including a "non-denominational" church, you belong to a set of beliefs diluted by people who belonged to a church diluted by corruption and paganism. To belong to a Protestant church and call the Catholics heretics is very ... ironic, and to be Orthodox and as toxic as you are is simply impossible from what I know.

We don't worship them.

I have to be honest here, I laughed when I read this. I didn't think a liberal would be the one to generalize a whole group of people -- let alone generalizing themselves.
Conservatives certainly don't worship governments, thanks. I don't believe any liberals actually worship a government either, but isn't it a bit ironic to say that the people who want a larger government don't worship it, and then imply that the people who want less government do worship it?

I don't see any other countries fooling Christians, plus their the largest power and think whatever they say goes.

I am sort of a Old School Protestant, BUT I have a lot of problems with all of their denominations, I'm pretty much like the Pilgrims, but I have a couple of issues with them, I am a Bible Christian but that term is stolen of late, I'm afraid I don't agree with the Orthodox's on everything either.

They all are "Good" patriotic Americans, You'll find they get more mad if you attack America than if you attacked their Beliefs.

1. Because America has problems and isn't perfect. My point is that is that America is far better than many, if not almost all, countries that have ever been. 2. Maybe. The oppression is so bad in North Korea it's hard to witness there. And, if you are out to attack evil, you should attack North Korea greatly, for being evil murderous liars. 3. I said they weren't. Many were deists. However, many were Christian, at least nominally, and incorporated many Christian principles into America. 4. That was Rome. Not America. And, I'm not to sure about Christians in the military or Government, but, again, my whole point was that America has problems but is not entirely evil and has done vast amounts of good.
