For those of you that haven't seen them yet, these are what the new sets look like:
Temple of Resurrection is very obviously the place where the villains want to revive Garmadon. It includes a brand new character which could be a new ninja.
Katana V11 (or VII) is a small boat for Kai with two flick-fire missiles and a cockpit. It also has a villain riding a motorcycle. He looks like the villain riding a motorcycle in the sneak peek.
Street Race of Snake Jaguar is another set with a ninja and a villain on motorcycles. Zane is riding a motorcycle and chasing down the same villain I was talking about earlier. Even the villain motorcycle itself is from the sneak peek. It also has a villain wearing a red Oni Mask and on what looks like a spinjitzu spinner.
I forgot what the Headquarters set looks like.
The Ninja Nightcrawler is Lloyd's car from the sneak peek with two six-stud shooters.
Something vs Samurai X is a giant motorcycle that strangely has a red saw as a front wheel. It's being controlled by some sort of giant troll wearing an orange Oni Mask, facing off against the new Samurai X in a small mech.
Also, a new line of spinners that look like Airjitzu flyers will be introduced.

Everyone, I just noticed something after seeing the Winter 2018 sets again. If you look closely, you'll notice that the full name of the HQ set is SOG Headquarters. SOG stands for Sons Of Garmadon.
So these villains actually call themselves the Sons of Garmadon. It's not just the name of the season. That's very interesting.

That's all for now.
The new spinners remind me of LEGO Technic gears.
What about the brick-built pad with red swords on it featured in the Street Race of Snake Jaguar set? That could be a new spinner.
*Cut* I forgot what the Headquarters set looks like.

SOG Headquarters is a set focusing on the villains. It looks like a garage with a Garmadon flag on it. Lloyd is in this set with a golden spinner, which could be the reason why doesn't have a spinner set.
So what do I think of these sets? Well, I hate the bike theme for the villains. It feels so random and silly. It also reduces variety, as the only vehicles these villains ride are motorcycles. The villains should have simply been a cult following evil Garmadon.
Another problem is that there are only six sets plus five spinners. Just six main sets is really weak. Still, at least they have spinners to make this wave feel more complete.
I don't think these look terrible...except for the set with Samurai X. What kind of bike has a saw as a front wheel? I'm also confident in the season itself, since the Hagemans returned from writing Trollhunters. Brent Miller has even said the script could become his favourite season, and the tone could also be a lot darker.
One thing that does seem bad about the Sons of Garmadon season though, is the ninja looking more like the movie versions. This makes no sense. Some people think this will make fans of the movie less confused, but I sadly agree with Tannerfishies. This will just make movie fans more confused. Also, I dislike the movie designs strongly, excluding Jay.
(No, I don't dislike the movie designs just because of nostalgia.)

Just how I feel.
I agree, especially about the motorcycle-exclusive villain vehicles. Seeing the bike in the clip got me excited, because I thought there would be a bunch of different kinds of vehicles with that color scheme. But no, they all look like the same vehicle, just in different sizes.
Also, I can see a big problem with Kai, Jay, and Nya having their movie hairstyles: it would mess up the continuity, because they were shown with their regular hairs in the future reflections. So do they change their hairstyles, and then change them back later on, or what?

I feel that the series should go underwater in Summer 2018. That would give us some very unique vehicles and stop Ninjago from losing it's creativity.

I'm curious about who the gray fake ninja was, because I feel like he or she may be important somehow. ( ya know the one Lloyd stopped from falling and then the cops caught in the sneak peek. )
Temple of Resurrection Katana V11 Street Race of Snake Jaguar Something Headquarters Ninja Nightcrawler Something vs Samurai X
Of course we can't get the full names, so let's just wait until we get official images.
Wait, Temple of Resurrection? What is this, Breath of the Wild?!
I was thinking this season reminds me a bit of the Legend of Zelda too! Maybe it's just because I'm just starting to play it and learn about it, but there's definitely more then one similarity! ( I'm playing Ocarina of Time, and that's the only one I've played so far, but I do know a little bit about other games. )

Oh the ninja's hoods could be made to help them serive underwater, and the ninja could have to learn to fight underwater, and Nya couldn't do as much with her powers. And I'm I saying to much?

That was one of the cultists called the Sons of Garmadon. I doubt s/he will play a big role, since that was supposedly the opening scene, which means that character got caught by the police very early on in the story.

Perhaps Cyrus Borg could make diving suits for each ninja. That would be very different and refreshing.
