Wow, this place is still alive? Awesome to see, it's been almost 7 years since we formed the original now.
How are things? I've been enjoying all the Kirby stuff of recent times.
Indeed, I have been trying my best to keep it alive in your absence. It has, I can hardly believe it's been so long.
It's been going very well for me, thank you! I've been playing Fire Emblem Engage, but Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe also is quite tempting, as I never ended up playing the original.

It's great that this place is still running after all this time. We've been goofing about for what feels like such a short time.
I've heard a lot of good things about Engage. Looking at your profile pick these days Waffle, I think you should give Return to Dreamland a chance, it's easily the best Kirby game of the last decade. Super fun time, would highly recommend.

True, it's made it through quite a lot, and we're still discussing LEGO and (mainly) Nintendo to this day =P
I absolutely will try Return to Dreamland, and I look forward to it. Thank you for your insight!

Makes me feel all nostalgic again. Always nice to see this sort of thing still happening.
You have fun with it, and no problem! Hope you enjoy it.
Goodbye, Nintendo eShop. The joy of thine music and goods will echo through hearts of many for years to come.
It is a great loss, and shall be dearly missed. I count myself lucky to have been able to buy from it while I had the chance, and lament not being able to do so anymore =(

Supposedly the DLC for Xenoblade 3 will be of some significance to its lore? I'm not too familiar with the series, so I am likely not the best person to report on it, but Spiderboy and 1999 were fans of it if I recall, and so I hope that they enjoy it if they end up playing it, wherever they are now. I feel strangely sad over it as well, even though I never played any of the games -- like I probably should have done so when they first released, but that the story is advancing (ending?) with or without me, and I've missed my chance to participate.
I don't usually provide updates on games outside my usual knowledge, and they don't usually end up being much like this one, but I hope I have been of service regardless =P

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has now released, and it's widely considered to be quite fun =P It's stated to be designed with everyone who wants to experience Breath of the Wild for the first time again in mind, and introduces several new features that achieve this wonderfully.
It also features Chris Hackney, the voice actor who portrays Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd in Fire Emblem: Three Houses as well as Three Hopes! And so far seems to revolve around the lore of the Zonai, the mysterious tribe from Breath of the Wild that has been the subject of many theories in the years since its own release.
Personally, I find the game greatly enjoyable, and believe it lives up to the anticipation as a sequel to Breath of the Wild! =D

A bit over a month later, I have returned to confirm that Tears of the Kingdom is still a really good game =P Though I am a bit disappointed they removed the item duplication glitch, I can understand why they did it, and you can still access it as long as you 1. don't update the game past 1.1.2 on a physical copy, or 2. simply set the version to any previous update on a non-physical (digital / downloadable) copy.
That's my report, until next time I'll likely continue playing Tears of the Kingdom for quite a while to come =P

Among a variety of other games, a remake of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars has been announced in today's Nintendo Direct! =D Though we didn't get a Genealogy of the Holy War remake, this is still a quite notable title to be remade, as it served as the inspiration behind the Paper Mario series, and also features fan-favorite characters such as Mallow and Geno who haven't been able to return since the game's initial release in 1996. It will release on the Switch on November 16th of this year, and I'm certainly looking forward to it =D
