Longbowmen generally practice a kind of bombarding in which the arrow drops straight from the sky, so the high angle you're talking about wouldn't be that different from what they are normally trained for (Correct me if these are specialized or different than normal longbowmen.)
These are normal Gondorian longbowmen, so yes, I would say the same as Goat here. Unless it's at a different angle from what I'm thinking.
My troops are immediately in front of a group of tall barriers. You might snag one or two of the front lines, but it's not the kind of angle you can hit from a far off area.

What tall barriers? I hadn't heard about these yet.

Yes you have. They're called FireStorm Carts.

Oh, those. I'm an idiot. xD
Anywho, here's my new/next move, in that case:
*My troops turn again. Melee troops charge towards the troops to the sides of the Firecarts, while the archers fire arrows at the enemies being charged.*

*My troops turn again. Melee troops charge towards the troops to the sides of the Firecarts, while the archers fire arrows at the enemies being charged.*
*The Firecarts stay in position, with the other troops guarding their flanks, close enough that the archers can't fire at them without getting a good deal closer.*

I'm tired of this stand still, so I'm going to go ahead and end this stand still, even if I end up losing.
*500 of the Axemen of Westfold start moving toward the Firecarts, directly approaching your front lines with their shields at the ready.*
*My closest horse archers (750) ride far off to the flank of MM's forces, staying out of range.*
*The mounted Spearmen and Axemen from the north come down next to the dwarf lines, getting in to position but also staying out of range.*

*The archers do get a good deal closer, with the infantry in front of them*

awesome. *My own Horse archers, in addition to my Aji-Ayangs (over 3,000 units) prepare to attack Goaty's Horse Archers.* *The FireCarts ready barrels of oil and torches.* *My archers and melee cavalry ready to attack the spearmen and Axemen.* *the Variags make their way next to the Firecarts, ready to attack the Axemen.*

This is probably the worst possible time to ask this; but what are your Variags? *The Axemen split apart into a simple cluster, not all that cohesive, and no longer in solid lines, while keeping their shields in position.* *The Horse Archers spread out into one big net, without any being too close together, but still remain out of range.* Now I'm just waiting for MLB to tune in and hopefully provide some help.

The Variags are elite Axemen beserkers.
*My troops wait for your advance.*

Woah, me too. What's their MWE? Also, are they mounted, or foot soldiers?
