{JAMMERS! -EE- ONLY!} Pull back your Gondorians slightly so his FireStorm Carts are in range of my Arras-ul Menel, then I can take out a few. I'll bust holes in the front for you.
*The Gondorians split, half attempting to circle around the carts on one side, half on the other (They're running, obviously). They then attack the infantry who are guarding the rears of the Firecarts.*
*The Variags are the first opponents for the Gondorians, and after that a shieldwall (in a half-circle) forms around the back of the Firecarts.*
*Seeing their...formidable opponents, the Gondorians screech to a halt before reaching them. They quickly form up, and commence an orderly (albeit hurried) retreat.*

*Now that the Gondorians are retreating, so do my units.*
I see what you were just attempting. Nice try though.
Tul Generas of the Orcs, Darthraxx of the dragon Knights. I RP, and have lots of fun.
{JAMMERS! -Good- ONLY!} Ok, guys, could we come up with a plan and go ahead and figure this out? This is getting to be an annoying standstill.
If the Gondorians could charge the Orcs and take out at least some of the siege weapons and ranged units, then my cavalry should be able to take care of MM's units pretty easily. I just can't go charging towards them only to be shot down.
Also, MLB, couldn't your new ballistae's do something about the Firecarts?

*My archers turn and fire arrows on the backs of the retreating Variags.*
Eh, it was MLB's idea. My units are doing everything stupid this battle, it's amazing they haven't all been smashed yet.

{JAMMERS SAME!} I just tried to do something like that. Lure some of his units out so MLB could wreck 'em. Sadly, MM didn't fall for it. Any other ideas?

*The Archers hit wooden Carts.* You were retreating, and my troops were defending the carts, so you would be out of range by the time you can hit my troops.

Eh, maybe.

Umm. . . You do realize the kind of angle that would have to be, right? I don't think that angle is really possible. . .

Longbowmen generally practice a kind of bombarding in which the arrow drops straight from the sky, so the high angle you're talking about wouldn't be that different from what they are normally trained for (Correct me if these are specialized or different than normal longbowmen.)

Whether or not, their is the fact that they were retreating, meaning that They won't be near. Therefore the Distance required as well as the angle should make it impossible.

These are normal Gondorian longbowmen, so yes, I would say the same as Goat here. Unless it's at a different angle from what I'm thinking.
