OOC: At this point, I probably have about 1500 troops (~800 archers, 450 spearmen, 250 swordsmen), who have all retreated to the dwarven lines. However:
IC: *A war horn blows. Suddenly, all the Gondorian troops srping forward towards the orcish lines. They spread out, in no particular formation, except that the swordsmen lead, while the spearmen follow, with archers behind them. Once in arrow range, the archers stop and begin firing at the front lines of orcs, while the other units keep charging.*
*Large numbers of Ranged Cavalry move to intercept, firing as they go.* You'll be dead really quickly. I've got a good number of them. *The FireStorm Carts advance to intercept the Gondorians, with the Infantry guarding their rear.*
Remember horsebows have less range than a Gondorian longbow. Also, those carts aren't exactly fast, but *Shrug*

The horses are fast enough to avoid Gondorian fire, and 800 won't do much damage. 200 or so isn't a huge loss. And the carts are more of insurance, since the Gondorians can't really fire anything to harm them.
Tul Generas of the Orcs, Darthraxx of the dragon Knights. I RP, and have lots of fun.

Wait a second. . . Aren't the Infantry looking to attack the Orcs? My Fire Carts are coming from about where their lines are.

Not a good Gondorian longbow, mostly, because their projectiles will travel much faster than the horsebow's and will be harder to dodge, and 800 will do quite a bit of damage I figured, although they might take out one of them

They are. Your last post gave me the impression that the fire carts were coming from elsewhere, attempting to beat my soldiers to a point in front of your lines. What are your Firecarts like again?

The Firecarts are next to the main Orcish lines. so they're not straight on the orcish lines, but they're close.
Big wooden "tanks" pushed around by two Great Beasts. They're manned by 6 orcs, 4 of which in the cart (and have doors they can open up to send oil spikes etc.) at the enemy, and then 2 directing the Great Beasts. The Beasts are in a metal contraption keeping them and those orcs impregnable, except from behind. And remember, I said that some of the infantry are guarding their rears. Inside the wooden cart with the orcs is a whole bunch of oil and fire. The carts are impregnable to fire because of water/type of wood/fat stuff. So. . . make your move.

3,000 Khandish MWE enter the Udun Vale and stay away from the fighting.
What's the situation here?
Ummm. . . their are a large number of Khandish troops, and Orcish units in a standstill with Rohirrim and Dwarves, and a small number of Gondorians are attacking the Khandish units now. Their is 10K Khandish troops, and then around 10K Orcs (including the newer FireStorm Carts that have only been used now.)

OK, makes sense.
*The Gondorians split, half attempting to circle around the carts on one side, half on the other (They're running, obviously). They then attack the infantry who are guarding the rears of the Firecarts.*

{JAMMERS! -EE- ONLY!} Pull back your Gondorians slightly so his FireStorm Carts are in range of my Arras-ul Menel, then I can take out a few. I'll bust holes in the front for you.
