Yeah, it's good. =P The salmonid is a bit scary. =P
yeah, they look sorta akward when you get to view the ported models up close and such, but at least the Source Engine's Lighting and whatever ported normal and bump-mapping they have on them is splendid to see in a decade-and-a-half old game engine.
OoC: Just letting you guys know, Eight may talk a little weird...this is canon. (Octolings arrived in Inkopolis only recently, so they are implied to speak the common tongue brokenly.) (the pictures are not in order nor are they next to each other in the dialogue lineup, I just chose the best ones; click for a bigger picture)

Their modeling terms in general, not just for the Source Engine and Garry's Mod!

(OOC: Thanks to the help of Garry's Mod, i can visually represent some Inkling/Octarian characters at your request if you name what clothes they are wearing, skin color, eyecolor, etc. I may play an inkling/Octoling here (Probably copy-paste Agent 7 from the chima fanon rp ), buuuut, i have a more superior character, being a Salmonid. :3 Her name? Aurum-San~. And her school she commands isn't any regular school of salmonid she leads, oh no, FAR from it. Might make it a separate "faction/tribe/whateveryoupeoplecallsit" for the rp. She has her own backstory which involves a fan-canon of "if humans survived all five world wars, and the rising of earth's oceans for the last 140 centuries". (im heavily invested in Splatoon lore if you can't tell )
She's the woman all humans fear for her school raiding coastal villages and towns, and some other nasty things here. Her home base is basically a partially sunken human research vessel they sank. and she isn't hesitant to start experiments with humans to try and turn em into salmonids themselves, if they can breed Salmonlings (Inkling/Octarian-Salmonid hybrids), they can make anthro Salmonids a reality!)
(OOC: And here is Aurum-San in her 3D appearance! Took me an hour to make, but it's well worth the wait for an day and so to create this scene. Do be aware of her Golden Frying Pan, as it's her symbol of authority and Justice in her school of salmonid, and can turn people into gold statues if you're hit by it if it's energized and glowing. She owns a large Gold statue collection of numerous inklings, octolings, humans and otherkins in her throneroom. And yes, her Salmonid Army does wield Inkling and octarian hand-weapons, their standard issue being the Hero-Charger.)
LOOks nice, but I would have trouble telling her apart from the Goldie salmonids.
Also, what is our rules about OCs? I don’t mind as long as they still come from a main game universe and aren't to over the top. I would say this one is alright.

I would start, but I need a while to decide what character I’m going to play as, I would be Bellum, but it’s been a while since I’ve played phantom hourglass so I wouldn’t be able to play him to his full potential.
