21. They can't walk. 22. They can not kick, so you can't use them in ninjago. 23. They are good to shoot at. 24. They are nice and shiny to fish for bass. 25. They have nutrition for pigs. 26. You can accessorize their hair. 27. They're fun to eat. 28. You can throw them. 29. They come in less sets so, you can sell them at a higher price on eBay.
9. Their outfits are much cuter than girl minifig ones 10. They were made in response to a demand for more realistic figures by girls. 11. They match better with the usual pastel theme of Friends and the girl power feel of DC Superhero Girls and Disney Princess. 12. As special LEGO figures go, they are the most compatible by far with minifigures. 13. They have two skin tones. 14. They make for cute animations.
Honestly, with these reasons and more, I don't understand why people hate on them so much. Sure, they aren't as mobile, they make the "girl themes" look set apart from the others, and slight modifications sometimes have to be made for their slight size difference, but I think the main reason is simply: they aren't what people are used to. But what's wrong with change, especially when it's good?
Sorry capamerica1903 for turning your thread into a soapbox. I'm a huge nerd.
@bolded: To be fair, minifigures have skin tones of almost any color you can imagine

32. If you get one, nobody will try to steal it! 32. Doesn't bite. 33. Doesn't growl. 34. Only sometimes barks. 35. Doesn't force you to do your homework. 36. Gives us a reason to be thankful for the standard minifig design.
