OOC: Thought so. Iroquois doesn't even know that the Vultures are no longer aligned with the Ice Tribes conquering motives. =P
OOC: Well the Empire of Balance is well-known now among most tribes, however I guess the Icebears, far off in the Outlands and only having radio contact with the Sabertoothes, would indeed not know about it.
OOC: As far as i know, they have not had radio contact with the sabertooths.
The Queen looks around with interest as they move through the Icebear stronghold.
"King Iroquois." The White Lioness strides forwards, her retinue staying a few paces behind her. She bows slightly in return, before holding out her hand for Iroquois to kiss. "I must say, I am greatly impressed; this is quite the fortress your people have built in such a short period."
IC: *Iroquois does so. He steps back again.* "Half of the construction was due to a golden orb of chi that Inika found. Now to information though, to put it plainly, the Icebears are out of the loop. We don't know anything after the glacier was destroyed. We established a base here, but we don't know how we can aid in the war."
OOC: The J did the vultures turn after Icestrike's glacier was destroyed?

IC: "I am glad to hear you still wish to participate in the war. Our Vulture allies...have betrayed the old alliance, choosing to fight alongside the Leopards to imprison us in the North. Their new "Empire of Balance" drove us out of the Iron Mountains some time ago, forcing us to attack through our old tunnels beneath Chima."

IC: "Very much so, but the return of the Icebears into the fold may be the beginning of the turning point. Our scouts report of war in the South, and battle at the Lion City. Battle between our enemies. Even the Phoniex have become embroiled in it, so we may still have a chance; divide et impera, as they say."
The White Lioness pauses, her expression pensive. "Before we make plans for aggression, however, we must give some thought to defence. My party saw a massive host amassed at the Black Mountain on our way here; who they are I could not say, but they have Fire Chi, and a huge number of warriors. I suspect you may be their target."

IC: "Yes. I fear we made a needless enemy in the scorpions, simply because they would not give up this land. I gave them ample chance, but they refused. Then a rash decision was made, and my paw was forced to smash the scorpions here. I would not be surprised if they're intent on carrying out a foolhardy plan to retake the land here. We have made many anti-air and anti-land turret defences in the time we've had."

{Jammers - Batonmaster only} IC: "Well, the situation is far from ideal, but if you're confident your defences will hold then this could be to our advantage. A significant proportion of the South's military strenth - and its Fire Chi - will be moving eastand laying siege to this stronghold, leaving the west vulnerable...do you think the whole of your army will be needed here, or could you spare some of your warriors to join our counter-attack?"

{Jammers back} IC: "Good. I'll summon a few hundred soldiers from the north to meet up with yours away from here." The White Lioness pauses, thinking. "This is the ideal region, I think. To those without the natural protection of our ice powers, the Outlands are a literal death trap at the best of times; they will be fighting against the plantlife every step of their journey here, and will have to burden themselves with heavy armour for every waking moment to avoid being poisoned. And the jungle cannot sustain their armies; little to no edible food grows here, so they'll be dependent on regular convoys over the Iron Mountains. If you force them into a protracted siege here, I can circle west and cut off their supply lines, and potentially attack Black Fang Mountain or Scorm City as well. Our enemies will be trapped, and the remainder of my husband's forces can keep the rest of our enemies too busy to send help. If we can maintain that situation for a month or two, starvation will destroy them. Once their morale breaks, I can bring my group back here and help you crush whatever's left of the besieging army."

{Jammers back} *Iroquois nods.* "Although.. they might not have as much difficulty if they come by air. Inika fought a few scorpion helicopters when we were taking this area."

"I wouldn't worry about an airborne assault," the White Lioness responds. "The 'Balance" created when the Phoniex banished us is already upset by our presence in the south, causing earthquakes and airstorms. I understand my husband has just led a raid on the Lion Temple through our old tunnels, completely stripping the Sacred Pool of Chi. According to historical accounts discovered during our previous raids, the last time the Sacred Pool was emptied - during a conflict between the Lions and the Wolves - it similarly upset the Balance. Given the unprecented phenomenon of these 'imbalances' occuring simultaneously, the airstorms should increase in both frequency and intensity. If they send an army into the skies, the Illumination's latent power will tear it into shreds."

The siege lasted for a day, until the Eagle Triumvirate came with Tilas and Lyranos as leaders, and Elina as negotiator. They reinforced the scorpions, and the bombers withstood the storms. The white lioness had been too proud, but the polar bears had still anti-aircraft guns.however, they couldn't withstand the bombers.the defenses were badly damaged and the ET besieged the base, however unable to drive out the icehunters, the ET tried to negotiate.elina yelled:surrender

OOC: This kind of post is against RP rules, sorry. You have to post an action, and then let the person RPing the opposing characters reply first, especially during battles, so it's not just one-sided. I get it though, I did this same thing when I was new to role-playing, evident from my very early posts on Lion HQ.
