Um...it didn't really do it for me. Homeschooling is better, I guess, but it can feel lonely and boring at times.
Ah yes, I know what you mean. Especially if you're an extrovert. I understand homeschooling isn't for everyone, but with the state of the school system in NZ it's not a life I'd give up.
I'm saying I'm an introvert and PUBLIC schooling isn't for me. I mean, middle school was great, but high school was really hard, especially being surrounded by vocal minorities and all that stuff. I wouldn't give up homeschooling either, not here in California. I have much more freedom to express myself as a conservative (yet relatively accepting) Christian and tell the truth, where they simply pitied me in high school when I admitted my beliefs there. At least I found some friends I occasionally go to the mall or something with.

Oh, pardon my misunderstanding. The U.S schooling system is quite different from the NZ one, so my apologies in advance if things pass over my head. Indeed homeschooling is a good and free life, safe from the harsh outside world. I;m glad you have some friends though.
I haven't been homeschooling any; I don't have children. But yes, I understand your meaning. I've been homeschooled for my whole life; a long fourteen years.
