So, about what shall we chat, fellow homeschoolers?
Public School, of course.
I have never attended one, thank God, unless college counts. :tounge: I have been homeschooled from the get-go.
Speaking of which, I just got back from a stupid day and a half orientation at college where I had to spend the night despite the facts that I've been dual-enrolling for a year and a half and I live 15 minutes away.
I do not, actually, feel comfortable revealing that online. I do not mean that as a personal offense at all, I've never revealed it, either here or on the LMBs.
Well, not specifically, anyway. I am an American, however.
I've been homeschooled my entire life! And will be, till college.
What's college like in America? It's different for us down in New Zealand.
Well, it's expensive. Kids often have to take huge loans to pay for it. The textbooks are just a ripoff. The colleges are okay, they try to be fancy. The Ivy League ones are the best on the East Coast, and the country. I've been to Princeton, which is quite something!
I've been homeschooled since 2nd grade. I spent two years in a public school, but I got pulled out because they wouldn't let me skip a grade.
Ah, the wonders of a stupid government with stupid rules.
I'm dual enrolled at a college for my junior and senior years. Hopefully I can get into UGA for my non-core classes.
do you live near UGA?
I live about an hour away. I'm going to a much smaller and less prestigious school right now because it's nice and close. And I really like the campus. I'm taking Intro to Computing and American Government right now over the summer. I'll be taking my science and math there this fall.
