Technically Lucas ruined Star Wars. Anakin became a Jedi that married in E5, but it really didn't matter until it was said Jedi were not allowed to marry in E1, or maybe it was E2. They only did that to emphasize the teen romance drama in E2 and E3. Stupid Lucas.
