Sonic Lost World was a masterpiece and Sega shouldn't have gone back to the boost formula. Change my mind. *I actually liked Lost World, and it was one of my favorite games in the series.* I don't want to change your mind, though!

Of all final bosses in the series, who would you say was most powerful? *Automatically rules out all that didn't require Super Sonic.* Besides those, of course, it's hard to choose. There was Perfect Chaos, that overgrown Gaia thing, Finalhazard/Biolizard, Time Eater, G-merl, Metal Overlord, and even some of those Eggman Mechs required all Chaos Emeralds to take down. (For the Eggman Mechs to be specific, the Final Boss of Pocket Adventure had Sonic go Super. Both true final bosses in the Sonic Rush series had Sonic and Blaze use their respective forms, and Advance 1 and 2's final bosses saw him go super, but it should be noted that he mainly did it to catch Eggman and end his scheme/rescue Vanilla, respectively.) Not sure if I should count Solaris, seeing as it got chucked off the time stream. Well, while I try to decide, what do you think?

Not sure if I should count Solaris, seeing as it got chucked off the time stream. Well, while I try to decide, what do you think? The most obvious answer is Shadow the Hedgehog. Here's why: Super-sonic has been sufficient to beat most every boss you've mentioned. Shadow, on the other hand, is at least an even match for Sonic. Most of their fights end in stalemates, or because circumstances give one or the other an advantadge. And when Sonic and Shadow have fought each other in their super forms in Sonic X, Shadow actually technically won by knocking Sonic out so he wouldn't interfere with what had to be done to stop the Mettarex. Additionally, Shadow has access to additional abilities Sonic does not. Therefore, it can be said Shadow is the strongest boss Sonic has ever faced. Following this logic, Silver is potentially even more powerful due to his psycho-kinetic abilities. But it depends on how exactly he uses them (if at all).

Well, if we bunched every character, I wouldn't argue at all. I still have trouble trying to decide which of those two is stronger, Shadow or Sonic. (Though the playable character factor usually gives the blue blur the victory in games, not counting a certain exception in a game about the ultimate life form. ) Not to mention, so of those final bosses mentioned required a team up of the two. (Biolizard, anyone?) I would also like to know, what about final bosses? Shadow's never been a final boss before, so if we restricted it to that category only, who would you say? *Is now having fun. Wants to make a Sonic tier list.* *Bias stuffs Cream and Big higher than they should be.* In all seriousness, maybe we SHOULD make a Sonic tier list, with heroes and villains combined. We just have to decide if Sonic or Shadow should be number 1.

Why I think Shadow should be in Smash: 1. Popularity: Let's face it. The Sonic fanbase, myself included, thinks Shadow's great, possibly the #1 character as far as fanbase approval goes. Character popularity has been a large factor for Ultimate's newcomers, unless you like Waluigi. (WAAAA.) However, I think Shadow's fanbase is stronger than several characters that are already in as newcomers. I think Shadow has a bigger fanbase than Inkling. K. Rool. Isabelle. Both Belmonts. Chrom. Dark Samus. Daisy. The only one who I think could be even with the Ultimate Life form in this form is Metroid villain Ridley, whom fans have been begging for for years upon years, so that doesn't matter much. 2. Moveset: Forget Echo fighter! While I would be pleased with that, Shadow's different enough to not be one. Chaos abilities make all the difference! Shadow can teleport all the time, and we mustn't forget those powerful things called CHAOS SPEARS. Chaos Blast could also be used, as a Final Smash, or Smash Attacks. For other Final Smash candidates, we obviously have Super Shadow, and for a cinematic doomsday, look no further than the Eclipse Cannon. Ridley's Plasma attack pales in comparison to that piece of technology. 3. 3rd Party Limit is Out the Door, Assist Trophy Questioning: We all thought 3rd party franchises had only 1 character. Castlevania ended that game when two Belmonts were announced for the game. Furthermore, Knuckles has been spotted as an Assist Trophy, Shadow's is still nowhere to be seen. Similar to what happened with Dark Samus and Isabelle, isn't it? I might add more later, but character limits and time crunches happen. In the mean time, these are some reasons why I think the Ultimate Life Form could (And should.) be in Smash. Just remember that we don't have time to play games with this. Less than 2 months to go.

If I said, "Get a load of this" again, that would be repetitive. *Looks for Sonic Memes. Decides not to incorporate Tails Doll into a revival post.* *Keeps looking.* *Gives up and does the only thing I can think of.* FROGGY!!! WHERE ARE YOU!!!???Let's chat!

The only reason that he lost is because Eggman slipped up and caught him that big laser!

Well, I'm about to play a game I've never played tomorrow. That's right, I never played Generations. (I've wanted to for some time, though.) I just bought it on my 3ds, and will play tomorrow! *Begins blasting Aquarium Park Act 1 theme.*

That new Smash trailer was both epic and heart shattering. Analysis shows that Sonic could have dodged the smashing lasers. He chose to slow down in an attempt to save Pikachu. GWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (So sad!)
On the bright side, footage already showed Sonic in action in Spirit Mode, and Kirby is still on the move, so I'm sure Sonic will be alright.

I think you're right, now that I stop and think about it. If you think about it though, Metal Sonic and every other Super Sonic boss to date has lacked an ability that Super-characters do have: complete invincibility. As long as they can continue to find rings, Sonic, Shadow, Silver, Knuckles, etc. can maintain a state of unending invincibility. Thus making their power scale infinitely.

Has the levels most people talk about when they talk about Generations.
