Priest, no doubt. First you need to go to college for a degree, then spend 8-10 years in seminary, spend a year as deacon, then do two more years of seminary, and then be ordained. Practicing the ceremony takes about a month.
To be a monk, you just need to be accepted into the order.
Oh my goodness, that's intense for priesthood.
What's the advantage of being a priest over a monk for you?
To me, let me put it like this. I have done things that I will never be able to forgive myself with. I may have salvation, but I can't pull myself together to forgive myself. The advantage for me, would be the forgiveness of others. I feel like I don't stand a chance, but others have a chance. I want to help them reach the goal. They can be saved. That is my goal.
On a SW note, have you seen episodes VII and VIII?

I'm really sorry to hear that. But that is for sure a noble cause then. I hope it all works out for you.
Just remember 1 John 1:9.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
I have indeed seen them both, have you? And if so, what did you think?

But really the question is, have you seen IX? because that is the sign of a true lover of the craft

I saw both. My thoughts are mixed.
Spoilers ahead. Do not read if you have not seen.
Ep. VII was more like a remake of Ep. IV. Starkiller resembling the death star, Hux being Tarkin, Kylo was like Vader, you get the point. I feel like there could have been more, however it was adequet. One part I did not like was when Rey picked up a blaster, and with two shots, she is a pro. (Mary Sue??)
Ep. VIII was a rabbit hole. It stunk. Badly. Let me get this straight. Admiral Ackbar gets a backscreen death? Or how about when Leia falls out of the starship, and flies back over like green lantern? Luke's pathetic whining about being a failure. It was poorly written.

Dude I 100% agree with that. Plus, in VII Rey magically wields a lightsaber with NO training, and is able to combat Kylo, who had been trained by Luke?? That's not how that works! Not even Luke could do that!
And it was the poorest story writing I have ever witnessed.....
Then VIII came, and Ackbar's sudden death almost felt like a joke-- this no longer is canon in my mind, Disney can't just poof and piff characters here and there with absolutely no thought involved for the storyline. A child could have written it better out of his/her pure imagination, rather than these "professionals" trying to recreate magic without having any vision but money.

Yeah, and the jumpspeed to cut through General Hux's ship. If it could happen, why wasn't it used before.
However, episode VII at least left some hope in me. There were a few cliffhangers that gave me a little bit of hope for episode VIII, but not that's out the window.
And do you remember Amylin Holdo? She was supposed to represent Leia. The only thing I could think about while watching her at all, was "Why did Leia put you in charge?". She is cocky, does not like to get hands on, orders her fellow soldies what she herself wouldn't do, and I can go on.

I am not even looking forward to episode IX.
EXACTLY!
There's always some sort of hope, because they really can't get much worse now.
Not the Leia we used to know really.
I know, Disney has already squeezed the life of Star Wars already.

Originally it had a sad ending and much larger backstory. Its around 35 minutes long but its final ending was more inconclusive and left a mystery for the audience to think what would of happened. I designed it to have a very music themed basis in terms of its relationship to the visuals like guardians of the galaxy.
Thats a very interesting aspiration for someone of your age and in our currently very technological and scientific generation. I hope everything works out your way in your pursuit of this goal.
Oh, I can't wait. My brother is a psychopath, and I literally mean it. He is not a violent person or has the urge to hurt, but he does not feel emotions anymore. He genuinely asked me what does joy feel like because he forgot how it feels. I wonder how he would like this movie...
Also, is it going to be allowed in U.S. or just in Europe?
Thank you. I have had a deep passion for it for a while. Philosophy particularly peaks my interest. It is the basic understanding of human life and the universe around us.
Ok...um. I was not expecting that sort of response TBH XD . When you say Psychopath how bad do you mean. Is he the sort of person who calls himself one because hes a teenager and going through..... you know what and thinks its cool to seem dark/shady?, because one of my best friends could be like that at times when trying to seek for attention and be outrageous for the sake of it. Or is your brother seriously one? If so its seems you and him are like the Ying and Yang siblings or Arcann and Thexann from SW the old Republic considering you want to aspire to be something considered admirable, good for the community and well respected.
Also,I know its not really for me to say and its entirely personal but Im curious why you don't want to have a family or children one day as by becoming a Roman Catholic Priest your not allowed to. Is that right. Im sorry if I crossed the line or anything man. I mean no offence by this.
Also a close Belgian friend of mine is studying philosophy too and they love it. I would probably have studied the same if it wasn't for my overwhelming interest in film or maybe business studies as my teachers said I was good at it. But most people that choose business studies just have money on their mind and are arrogant you know whats. Its the same for film actually, sometimes more so.
