Warden King was listening to the radio chatter from the squads in combat. He heard one by one the squads' captains reporting their movements and orders. King heard one by one the squads' comms go silent. He listened as the front line came closer floor by floor. When the skirmish had advanced to a one floor distance below the Warden's office the captains not in active combat began to insist on his leaving. Kingwja collected his badge, suit jacket, and gun. He pulled the slide back then holstered his 9mm. King had crossed the floor and put his hand to the door knob. He was distracted by the audio spilling from the walkie talkies speaker. It had become more and more calamitous in the last internal garisan fought furiously to keep Esaanimals and the others away from the Warden's office. This was the reason King didn't hear the booted footsteps approaching the otherside of the door until Dumbledore came crashing through right on top of him. Kind hadn't had time to comprehend what had happened before his arm was wrenched behind his back and he was drug off to the side of the doorway. Nexo and the others dove in after him and rolled to the sides as well, before returning to their knees and firing out of the battered in door. "Well, well, well. How are you, Warden? Dumbledore said in his ear after seeing his badge.

As the bullets were flying through the now partially rubble filled doorway Dumbledore growled out an account of how he and the others couldn't leave through the giant locked door. He called for Warden Kingwja to be reasonable and open the big door. By now the firing had died down some. Warden King told him here's mud in your eye. Dumbledore dragged King over to the desk and slammed him onto it. He pulled out his 45' to try to persuade him to open the gate. Nexo81 inspected the interior of the office. He discovered the switchboard under the desktop that was used to lock and unlocked the doors in the prison. He flicked all the switches to the off position then ripped the cord out of the box. King looked at the faces of the former inmates. He felt a blunt pain in the back of his head and squeezed his eyes closed. Dumbledore's finger tightened on the trigger. A desktop picture in a frame behind shattered glass caught his gaze. King was smiling. Standing directly behind King, with her hands resting on his shoulders, was his wife. In front of him was one of his three daughters, the others each off to one side. All there eyes shined. They were all smiling. Nexo looked back to King's face. "No. We can leave now. Let him go." "No, we made it all the way to the Warden's office. We...I am not leaving without pay back." "What good would that do? We've got what we want. We've got our freedom. It's just practical. Every moment we wait here is a moment closer to someone doing something drastic and stupid like leveling the building on top of us." Dumbledore pulled the trigger and a bullet tore into the wall with a boom. King flinched and then realized he was fine. He tried to slow his breathing then he looked up. Dumbledore, Nexo81,and Darkclaw had left.

*knocks it away* >:] Somewhere around 5,853, I think. I remember being a Ninja before jumping forward to Musketeer and Alien. Wild times.
*pulls out phone and uses it* Ooh, that's quite a few! How long were you active?
*takes phone* Compared to other users, I'd say it's well-below average posting. I was active for 3 years. This is starting to feel like an interrogation. o-o
