There was only one other weapon like it, the sparkthrower thing. It is just weird to me to have automatic weapons after being so used to having 3 hits combos.
The Wormholer dealt more damage though. It was amazing when used against Stromlings and Stroming Pirates.
I know, the sparkthrower wasn't faction related though. Who farms Stromlings and Stromling Pirates:P? Those are two of the WORST enemies to farm:P!

It looks pretty cool, though. Having worked with Paradox Rogues a lot in the MMOS KotOS Series, I feel a special connection to Space Marauders and their Wormholers, though I never had the kit or the valiant. I look forward to see how it really feels to use it when DLU launches.
That could be a while. It's been like 3-4 years and they just have Avant Gardens done, and that means no faction gear yet, much less valiants:S.
I don't think it will be that long, though, since I imagine that during those 4 years they built the basic stuff pertaining the whole game, while now they only have to do the specific details for each world.

They do not even have properties done. So no spider queen boss. But you could access faction gear through commands on LUNI I believe.
I know that they didn't have properties. I have a feeling that props will be the hardest part of this rebuild. Really? Do you think we will be able to actually use the weapons like we did in LU?
I once asked them about behaviours and they said that they certainly can be troublesome, but that never stopped them, which leades one to think that they certainly have worked on properties to a certain extent, though we couldn't know how close to completion they are.
Why wouldn't we be able to use weapons like in LU? Even in Jonny's server you can equip and (partially) use them. DLU intends to be as accurate as possible and I trust them to do a good work at that.

Maybe, but you must realize that these are mostly college kids who are busy with other stuff. For all we know they will never finish:S.

I never played Jonny's server:P. I hope once it's finished, or close to so, that they take away spawning items and reset everybody's accounts. That way you can't just cheat for items, part of the fun was earning them and trading:).

They have stated that the only reason that they would stop would be if there was a legal reason. Not only does that show their determination, but I'm pretty sure they must be knowing what they're doing and no legal matters will come up.

They may think that, but people's priorities change. If they get offered a job to make a game, I am pretty sure they would take that instead:S.

I was more of a Paradox and Sentinel kinda guy myself. I initially really liked the looked of Paradox when I first saw them, but reading into the factions and playing around in the factions, I fell in love with Sentinel.

Ironically Sentinel and Paradox were the factions I used the least. I used Venture League the most by far for the magnet effect for farming bricks and rares. My main on Storm was Assembly though, I just wanted to do a change since all my mains were Venture League. I did get Rank 3 and valiants in Paradox and Sentinel. Sentinel wasn't bad, but I didn't really like Paradox. I know this is gonna make people mad, but I HATED The Wormholer. I just couldn't get used to the rapid fire attack that used up imagination.

I meant Assembly ahah, not Sentinel. Not sure how I managed to get them confused XD ahah. Venture League was one I never really got to try since it did not interest me that much really, shame though since looking back I should I tried it.

I chose Venture League originally because it was the least popular faction in the poll going into the game. I always liked being the obscure person who did stuff nobody else did in video games. It turned out to be the best faction IMO though! It was EASILY the best faction for farming for the item magnet, and got even better when they added valiants. At first I thought The Broadsider was the better valiant because of high combo, but once I tried The Rutcarver and found out about it's 35 damage special I realized it was the best valiant in LU:D! The Rutcarver's description was VERY deceiving. It's special said 7 damage, but what I didn't know until I tried it was that it did 7 damage 5 times in a matter of a few seconds! Not to mention it's charge up special was great for farming too since it did 10 damage to all enemies around you!

I sadly never got a chance to try the Rutcarver. Once DLU is open, that's deffinately going to be a priority instead of the Power Jouster

The Rutcarver was the best weapon in LU in my opinion. It took some getting used to, but once you know how to use it it's gold. You have to be able to aim at your enemy right in front of them and use the special. Boom, 35 damage, will take out most enemies in one hit! It was INSANELY good for dragon invaders on Crux. Why? Because you could use the special at the end and would most likely get the loot because you will most likely deal the last blow!

Me personally the sentinels were my homeboys -- but I have a soft spot for Paradox's shinobi, even though I never got to play it very much
And with this vote, the Venture League drops to the bottom of the factions. This reminds me of the pre-LU faction poll:P. I never played much of any of the third faction kits. Found it hard to use a kit with no valiant when I could use one with a valiant.
