Well they should mod the oldest posts first. It keeps the momentum of conversations and reduces the risk of losing posts.

You might see slightly newer posts modded before slightly older posts for a short period, but if there are posts from 5 minutes ago modded before posts from 4 hours ago, then that shouldn't happen even though it sometimes does.

Couple posts on this page. I know it hasn't been 24 hours, but posts 16 hours younger than it have been moderated so I figure they got overlooked or something.

As far as I can see there aren't any missed posts there anymore. Any unmodded posts left are subject to staff discussion so I for obvious reasons can't go into details about them.
