lol No anyone is allowed. I just didn't know you were part of this place. I'm a bit of and oldie here, and I don't remember you joining. But you certainly can!
Ah, yes the history of the Church, I am very interested in that. Partially because I am part of it's members.
About the Roman Empire, I just love it's evolution from a small town to a great republic to the empire it is most known as. I also find it's army and arts to be very captivating subjects. As for England, I wish I was an Englishman.
What denomination are you, if you don't mind my asking?
Rome is the most fascinating study a person can have. Do you have a theory as to why the Empire fell? And ever heard of the Gracchi brothers? I wish I lived in England. It is so..............you can't find a more interesting country! The English....their tea, accents, history, I just find them extremely facscinating!
Reformed Church, Baptist, to be more precise.
On Rome, it was getting really old, and all great empires must come to an end. While there are a multitude of factors, I'd say some of the main ones are it's vast territory, that was extremely overstretched and thus hard to properly administrate and defend, corruption, of course, both moral and economic. But I can't think of a main factor. As for the Gracchi brothers, I happen to watch the history session of an youtube channel, and they made a small season about them. Really interesting.
Back to Britain, I love their comedy, and culture. They have great authors, an interesting history, rain, tea, and influenced and still influence many, many countries. They made history.

Ah, yes. I didn't know about this place on the original Boards. I was only really active in the year 2014 I think and wasn't part of many topics.
But, if I'm gonna join, there's no time like the present and, I prefer relaxed places.

Interesting. Sort of like Reformed (Calvinistic) Baptists? We are sort of like old-fashioned Protestants.
That's part of my reason. I don't think Rome ever worked to be ruled by one person, it was too large and powerful. That's why Rome switched from the kingdom to republic. But when Diocletian split the Empire, that didn't work, because he really made 4 new empires. And it eventually became 2, but it never had it's glory again. The Gracchi brothers are one of my favorite parts of Roman history. I wrote a 5 page paper on them for school (I'm homeschooled). I love reading Plutarch, he tells in the stories in such an interesting and eloquent way.
Yes, Britain is great. I want to go there someday, London, Edinburgh, Belfast, Dublin, ah, what a great country! I have to go to York too, that's where Constantine was crowned.

Ah, okay. I never met you. I have been around for a while, I think I joined the LMBs in 2015, and for a while I was kinda inactive, but I was active all year 2016. I'm not one of the popular kids, but all the popular people know me from personal experience.
Okay! Join then! We welcome new members, because we like more than a page a day. xD

Yeah, I'm one of those users you just don't meet. Cool, I'm sure you would've been much more popular than me as relations are all the better if you know the user personally.
Thank you, it's always nice to be welcomed... anywhere, really. Heh, a page a day's fine by me. I'm a bit slow... Which reminds me , I've drafted up some signatures you might like (unless you've found one already.)

*randomly buts in*
Britain is technically multiple countries, and does not include Belfast or Dublin.

Are there any 'founders' of TRC left on here besides LEGOrebooted, Trenz, and I? Steph, you joined really early, but I don't remember if you were one of the first or second pagers...? Brian, same for you...? And Nid, you were kinda-sorta a member early on, if I recall. My memory is terrible, though, so if someone could remind me, I'd be grateful.
{JAMMERS back!}No, of course not... You could make it so that it just doesn't contradict canon, and then borrow stuff from the EU, or you can just go full on EU if you want.
{JAMMERS! BACK ONLY!} That could be cool. The EU post-ROTJ is a bit weird, but pre-TPM, it's kinda cool. Do you mean the main Sith character or guy who finds out about them?
Well, it's not near done yet, in fact it's barley started and I decided to go back and rewrite from the treatment level onward (I do this rather a lot, actually ), but do you really think I could fit a 120-page script into one post? Might be able to send the treatment over a couple posts in jams once I finish. Don't know if I'll want to share it if the script's not complete though, so we'll figure it out then...
In the mean time, have you written anything before?
I mean, I have a couple partially completed stories on the old MBs, and I've had TONS of ideas for stories. But as far as actually writing them? ... nope...
That's pretty much exactly my track record. Wanna see all these ideas made into full stories, but actually sitting down and writing them isn't as easy is it sounds.
