True, I was just saying that they're not the same country and aren't required to follow the same laws as that of another.
Oh, yeah, it had lasted a thousand years, so it was bound to become flawed and a bit bloated. What existed before the Republic?
In canon, little is known, but Legends showed some ancient Jedi vs. Sith wars. That could be an interesting time period to wirte about. Pre-Republic era.
It probably could be. Pre-Darth Bane. I've been wanting to write something about the Hundred-Year Darkness and the founding of the Sith, but I'm not taking on any new writing projects until I finish what I'm doing right now. :/
I kinda am okay with it if you are actually planning on buying the DVD or Blu-Ray. But it's theft and copyright infringement if you never buy the movie officially.
That's true. I was reading some thing and Rian Johnson was talking about piracy. Apparently in some European countries it's FAR worse than it is here... They don't even have a home release industry because literally everyone just watches the free pirated versions.
Only because they were on TV every week for a loooong time. XD Awesome! I wasn't sure if it was just films and TV series.p
Thats... Weird. BTW, I've been wondering, when they release American films in the Phillipines, do they just leave them in English, or do they do Filipino dubs or subtitles? I know one of your languages is English, so I'd guess the first, but I'm not sure.
Really? Maybe it's because I'm in a different country, so they don't air here.
They leave it in English. All promotions are still in English. The dubs are only on TV, although the most popular movie channels leave it in English. The Filipino dubs are honestly a bit stupid and really funny. xD However, sometimes, the distributor will be different (for indie films, at least).
As for the case of Kong: Skull Island, the version I watched is from South Korea, I think. The copy I watched was English with Korean subtitles, same with a certain X-Men movie I discussed with Brian.
Probably. You could probably find them on DVD if you really wanted to, though.
Ah. Cool beans. Are there a lot of Filipino-made films, or do you mostly just watch foreign films?
That's odd. Maybe they can get away with putting copies on the internet more easily in Korea. Or maybe the distributed lets it stay up because they think it's not good enough to rival the home release because it has annoying subtitles at the bottom.
Is it weird that I've become obsessed using Siri? xD Everytime I say Computer, she says, "I am at your service, Lego Batman sir." or "Hello, sr. Alfred is on the 17th floor, caulking the tiles in the second bathroom of the fifth master bedroom." xD
I read about this somewhere, where you ask her, "What do my pets do when I am not at home?", and she responds to you saying, "Well, in a few words, woof woof meow chirp chirp tweet, meow meow ruff." or something like that.
Ask Siri this: Siri, can I call you Jarvis?
She has like five different replies, so do it several times, and they're all hilarious.
{JAMMERS! -Mr. Morse-Brown- ONLY!}What if we do something a couple hundred years before The Phantom Menace, when the Sith are in hiding. A guy discovers them, and must try to get the word out, but the Sith are hunting him in order to silence him.
{Jams back}Excellent idea! We should come up with a title when we have finished the big picture. So during that time a group of fallen jedi had taken over a spices called "Sith" or "Massasi". I know more about that age too. Also, are you any good at drawing?
{JAMMERS! -SMB- ONLY!} Well, double check that information to make sure you have the right time period, (after Darth Bane), and that it's still the same in Canon, and that that is not just Legends. And, unfortunately, not really. Why?
I think that we'll learn his true identity, if he is indeed anyone but Snoke, and I think we'll see a bit of him seducing Kylo to the Dark Side in Rey's visions. Maybe even his base of operations, which I BELIEVE is a giant starship which is mobile.
So do I. I actually hope so. It'd set her apart from the other stormtroopers beyond just the chrome armor.
You assumed right.
Ooh, if they actually do that I'd subscribe to Netflix SO fast. I hope Amazon, though, because I already have that. There was a rumor going around awhile back that they'd be making an anthology film about Boba and a gang of bounty hunters doing something or another, but I don't know how accurate it is.
I doubt that... It'd be stretching it, anyway. That was supposed to happen shortly before ANH, and I think there wouldn't be a big enough gap in which Alden Ehrenreich (however you spell it) could realistically transform into Harrison Ford.
Well, why not discuss it.
I really want Snoke to be somebody we know, but it's looking super unlikely at this point.
To be honest, she kind of sounds like a cyborg. Her voice is cyborg-y.
Cool.
Amazon has a thing like Netflix? I'm pretty sure a Lucasfilm persin was asked about a Netflix TV show and they said "don't expect one soon" or something, which implies one will probably happen, it's just a matter of when.
True.
Because there is no true answer.
I would also like that. The Plagueis theory would just be perfect on every level. As you said, doesn't look like it's happening, though.
Yeah, but it could just be the helmet.
...
Yes, they do. If you have Amazon Prime (which gives you the free fast shipping) you can utilize it. They have a pretty decent library, but some of it you need to pay extra for. Could be. He could also mean that they're just not ruling it out, but it's not in development now.
They could mess with when it happens though, as we saw that they'll find loopholes to fit an Anthology film in Rogue One when they used 'FULL power' as an excuse to use less than full power.
Ooh, I'm going to have to try and find Destroy All Monsters. I also need to see the King Ghidorah one... He's pretty much THE classic Godzilla opponent, and I still haven't seen any of the films with him in it.
I saw one of the Mothra ones... Not sure which it was. It was interesting, but weird. These two fairy people were singing to awaken a Mothra to go and fight for them. How is the 1992 one?
Well, Ghidorah is in Destroy All Monsters, so that one's probably a good choice.
I'm pretty sure that happens in almost every movie with Mothra. I haven't seen the 1992 one in forever but when I was little it was my favorite one. It's kind of like a remake of the both 1964 one and the original Mothra movie, plus an evil version of Mothra, and some Indiana Jones-like scenes, according to the internet. It's not great, but not the worst according to ratings.
Ah. That would be good, then. They've been showing a fair amount of Godzilla movies on TV recently, too, so there's a chance it could come on. Or I could borrow it from the library.
Well, it was really brickin' weird. The Mothra then was smashed by a monster and its eggs hatched and these two Mothra pupae/larvae or whatever they're called hatched from giant eggs and fought it. Oh. Well, if it was your favorite, it's probably pretty good.
{JAMMERS! -BrianG2402- ONLY!}Windu and Jinn would actually be really cool as well. I just didn't suggest Windu, because I had another character who is a Coruscant gang-leader whose claim-to-fame of sorts was that he'd acquired Mace's lightsaber. Whatever you think is best though! Cool beans! Glad you like the idea. Tweak it as much as you want to fit what your story needs.
Alright, I might start writing parts of it soon, but if I need any ideas, I'll talk to you.
Cool beans. I look forward to it if you decide to post it.
Wow, just wow. It has such a unique style, it was very original, and it wasn't very predictable. At some points you can get a little confused, but later when it comes full circle you're like "Oh!" It wasn't very predictable and the plot and ideas behind the movie were awesome. And the ending is surprising and epic.
My advice: No matter who you are, watch it now.
Daaaaaaaang... I wanna watch it so much, but I'm writing a time travel/superhero thing and I've been avoiding time travel movies in order to avoid influence and keep mine more original. Well, at least I have an incentive to work harder and faster, so that I can watch this when I'm done. What would you rate it out of 10? Does it make you look forward to VIII more?
