And nobody reading the Bible would have thought of Easter if it weren't for the pagan holidays. They mixed all the pagan holidays and made them "Christian". The first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox? Ever wondered where that came from? Or the ideas of eggs and rabbits? They are all pagan things that the Church dubbed "Christian".
Paul says in Galatians that we shouldn't observe holidays and seasons and years. That was done in the old covenant, we don't need to observe those things, holidays, the idea that you could keep a day holy (e.g. the Sabbath) is something from the Old Covenant. And (nothing personal here) but Roman Catholics have priests and censors and vestments and all of these things, which were things of the Old Covenant.
Another thing. 2 Timothy 3:16-17. We don't need to add things, Paul says everything we need to know is in the Scriptures.
Nothing wrong with celebrating his birth or resurrection or other things.
But when we celebrate it on some special "holy" day, like christmas, that's wrong. christmas is all from pagan traditions that were later dubbed "Christian."
Its funny you have no idea why you use emotes because I'm a rational person and I think that if you do something you should know why, especially if its an action/thing you don't like.
I always thought Luke was the Chosen One. Rey is a great character, but I don't want any of the other characters to lose their high standing. She isn't at the top.
I'd be in agreement with that... I think Rey will end up being the Chosen One, but I'd prefer it be Luke or Anakin. Though the trailer 'hint', if it indeed is one, could point to Luke as well.
I am considering writing a book on Bazine Netal. She is a cool, interesting character, and I would love to do it!
Ooooh. That'd be really cool. You could do all sorts of Underworld stuff in it. I'll read up on her really quick and get back to you if you want a random string of ideas. Any development on the plot at all, or just know that she's the character you want?
Not much development, really. Somebody wrote a short story about her, but that just covers a small mission. I think there's a guy in that I can use as a sidekick, and she's got a ship! Very exciting!
Meh, sure! What do you want to discuss? Rey's Identity Finn's Identity Snoke's Identity Will Han Solo Come Back?
All of them!
Skywalker. I don't want it to happen, but I'd be surprised if it weren't the case. The one theory I really like about her identity is the Rey Palpatine one. It'd be interesting to me.
No one... I don't think we'll find out he's related to anyone of importance. I really think that all we'll get about his backstory is what they said in TFA.
I would really, really like it if he was Plagueis, but I think he's just someone new.
No, please no. He really shouldn't, as much as I would've liked one last seen with Leia, Luke and Han together.
lol okay. I personally believe she is a Skywalker, Solo is not beyond possibility, though. Daisy Ridley said she thought Rey's identity very obvious..and yes, Skywalker is plainly obvious. It would be pretty cool.
Yah. I don't think Finn is anybody..some people go a little crazy with theories.
I have a couple theories..he could be Plagueis...or, he could be Vader's apprentice in Rogue One. Now THAT would be cool.
Yah, it would probably be tacky...but I really wouldn't be surprised.

I thought eggs and rabbits were related to Easter because of the idea of rebirth.
Rabbits= have lots of offspring Eggs= new animals hatch from them
So is this holiday really about celebrating the resurrection of Christ, or is it more of a pagan day celebrating spring?

Heh, lol. Well just know that's what cool sound looks like.
Reasonably well. I haven't been attacked by a horde of zombies, nor have I been abducted by aliens, so that goes down as pretty good in my book.
Coolness looks like a set of dashes and spaces. Got it. Nah, but, is there a way I can play this online?
Good, people always exaggerate the danger of zombies; they move super slowly even a caveman could get away from them.
Yep, that's one of it's many forms. You could translate it into piano notes and play it on an online piano, but even then you wouldn't be able to hear it sound like a guitar. That's a loop from one of my guitar songs, so it sounds best guitar and not anything else save maybe a few EDM synths.
If I publish my tracks, I'll let you know. I intend to publish them sometime, I'm just scared of haters and my parents don't momentarily approve.
{JAMMERS! -Ant-Maniac- ONLY!}I'm pretty sure you've read my jammers I've addressed to Stephanie. I never said outside of Jammers that I'm Catholic, but you somehow know.
It's no big deal, I just wanted to let you know i totally caught it because hardly anything gets past me.
Actually, I don't think the mods care about religious discussions here as long as they stay polite because there was one in the History Chat Club for a while, it may still be happening. Keplers was taking a major role in it and he's a mod.
I actually want to stop it as soon as I can because most Protestants will ignore points where they've been proven wrong.
No ad-hominems please.
Well.....I don't know HOW Roman Catholics could've proven Protestants wrong. That one is past me... BTW, could you please reply to our religious discussion?

Another thing... I think there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with celebrating Christ's birth or resurrection. I celebrate it, EVERY DAY! We should be celebrating it every day, not some random day, in Easter's case the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox, or in Christmas' case, the 25th of December (Which was actually the day the pagan Romans celebrated the birthday of Sol Invictus, unconquered sun). Paul says in Galatians 4:10 "You observe days and months and seasons and years. I fear for you, lest I have laboured in vain." The idea of keeping a day "holy" is from the Old Covenant (e.g. The Sabbath) so when we try to have a Holy Day (holiday) we are trying to go back to the Old Covenant, and take things from it, which is wrong.
