I think she is, but apparently not everyone agrees, so I wanted a general consensus.
Yes, or no?
I vote yes. I definitely think we'll be finding out some important stuff about her which will explain anything that some folks think is unbelievable about her.
Doesn't the Bible tell us everything we need to know to worship God? And if I SHOULD be celebrating Easter, and it is wrong not to, wouldn't the Bible say to? And am I calling computers holy, or using them to worship God? Really? Why? Well, a little. Actually, I rely solely on my notifications to find replies for me. And it IS The Relaxed Chatroom.
Actually no, before the Bible was written Jesus and his Apostles spread His teachings orally. Eventually people saw the need to write down what Jesus had taught for the sake of preservation and many attempted, but the best ones we have are the four Gospels. John also wrote: "But there are also many other things which Jesus did; were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written" (John 21:25) So the Bible can't contain everything, that's why there's tradition to pass on what the Bible does not contain.
No, you can use stuff to worship God, but just saying you said the Bible doesn't say to celebrate Easter so you'd consider it wrong. By the same logic, it would appear wrong to execute actions it says not to do.
Oh, well I remember which threads I hang out in and look through the new pages manually for replies to stuff I say then use notifications to catch anything I may have missed.
Of course not all of the events in Christ's life were written in the Bible, but the important ones we need to know are there, all of them! To say that the Bible does not contain everything necessary is to say it is imperfect, and this is the word of God, there are no errors. These traditions of holidays and many other things are wrong! They are not in the Bible, and the book is perfect, without error. We CANNOT use other things to worship God that we are not instructed too in the New Testament. All we need for church (besides a Bible) is bread, water, and wine. Easter has purely pagan roots. It was then turned into a "Christian" holiday, but that is utterly ridiculous. If the Easter traditions are pagan, why is it now alright if we label it "Christian"? And if you are trying to say we shouldn't eat or sleep or anything unless the Bible tells us too, then you are entirely misunderstanding what I'm saying. I'm not saying when I go on computers, or draw pictures, or anything like that, I am not saying that I am doing something holy. We should not call things holy unless the Bible tells us so.
I kinda like to keep limited on what I do, ya know? My time can be rather limited, so I only go on a few topics. I don't get popular, but I don't care as long as I have fun.
Oh, and another thing. Galations 4:10. "You observe days and months and seasons and years. I am afraid for you, lest I have laboured for you in vain."
Okay, so it is important with Scripture to understand it in the context which it is written. Looking at Galatians 4:10 by itself, it is very easy to come off with the idea that observing time, holidays, or stuff like that is evil. But you see Paul wrote that quote in a letter to Galatians who were still observing the the Old Covenant and its festivals. (Hence the days, months, seasons and years.) That quote was for the Galatians who were not adhering to New Covenant, but I adhere to the New Covenant so using that quote on me doesn't really work.
#Debunked
True, Galatians was written to those observing the New Covenant....but...it is about MORE than that. If you read it, you will find that it is addressed to the Church, addressing those issues, and a few others. Don't you think it would be more specific if it mean just the Jewish festivals? And are you saying that verse doesn't apply to us? (because we are not trying to go back to the Old Covenant, {as claimed})
{JAMMERS! -Blade Caster- ONLY!} Ori and the Blind Forest? I'm not sure what that is.... Music, eh. Do you like to sing? I can still be friends with people I do not agree with. Eh, Sam's fine.
Its not worth it. I have good memory though so I don't have to re-read it.
{JAMMERS! -Steffanie- ONLY!} Ori and the Blind Forest is the most awesome game I've ever played and it has one of the most awesome soundtracks ever. Its rated E so nothing to worry about.
Nah, I only sing in church, but even then I can't sing like I used to because I hurt my vocal chords.
Yeah, but different views open a ravine that can easily get larger and larger with little effort.
I already got that idea from my own perceptions, but I'd go a little further than that.
You thought I should know why the conversation degenerated. And I didn't remember because it didn't make any sense.
{JAMMERS! -Blade Caster- ONLY!} I sing all the time, just to songs, and lots of stuff like that. Oh, there's nothing really wrong with arguing, as long as it's worthwhile. Well, yeah. She's pretty cool, sometimes a little......demanding. JK.

In unbelievable stuff...do you mean like the fact that she is a Skywalker?
I've heard really mixed reviews about Kong. My dad saw it, and he didn't really like it, and my go-to movie critic overall didn't like it, but fans of the genre and other critics seem to really like it. And I've heard some say the characters were way less interesting than the characters in the 2014 Godzilla and some say they were way more interesting. So, if and when I see the movie, I honestly don't know what to expect.
The LEGO Batman Movie was a fun film. If you're a Batman fan you should definitely see it, it makes tons of funny references to past movies. And the animation is incredible. It's not as good and The LEGO Movie, but it's a fun film.
Yeah, I think that it really depends upon what you go into the theatre expecting. It's very different from Godzilla... Kong is, as I said, a fun film. It's terribly memorable, or really amazing, or anything like that, but if you go in looking for a fun way to spend a couple hours with some monster thrills then you'll probably get what you expect. That's generally what I expect from Monster films, so I had fun while I watched it. As for the characters, I can definitely understand where both sides were coming from. Most of the characters were incredibly dull and didn't have very much to them, including the two 'main' characters, played by Hiddleston and Larson. However, there's two or three characters which are VERY interesting (at least to me) and they blow away the characters in Godzilla. Jackson and Reilly definitely have the standout performances.
Ooh, neat. I'll probably get it on DVD as I did with the LEGO Movie. Nerdy references are definitely my type of humor, so I'll probably really like it.
Ah, okay. I will definitely see Kong: Skull Island sometime. Probably wait for when it's in Redbox. Honestly the thing I'm most excited to see in it is the post-credits scene, because Godzilla.
Ignore everything I say, to the best of your ability.
The story is pretty much the same, but it's just told from a more American perspective, which means less characterization for the true main characters, and more Raymond Burr babbling on about what's happening. It's a good movie either way, but the American one is less... impactful.
I watched the 1954 one a week ago, I will be watching the second one either tonight or this weekend. It's called Godzilla Raids Again , was released in 1955 in Japan, and was released as Gigantis the Fire Monster in the U.S., despite there being nothing called gigantis in the film.
Mhm. Plus, as I understand it, the original Godzilla was a bit of an allegory for Nagasaki and Hiroshima, which really doesn't work as well when you put it from an American perspective for so many obvious reasons.
I've definitely seen that one! I don't remember anything about it, but I saw it relatively recently.
That's kind of a misconception, actually. It's more of an allegory for nuclear weapons in general, but was obviously inspired by Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Godzilla was a personification of the dangers of nuclear weapons, being in a film with a strong anti-nuclear message.
It's actually one of the few Godzilla movies I haven't seen! It had the first suitmation monster fight, so it inspired almost ever monster movie since in that aspect. I will likely see the movie tomorrow, I'll let you know my thoughts!

I definitely agree.

It depends. Tell me what you would want and I'll see.
Well, why don't you just surprise me, for the most part? Just make it something super nerdy with lots of references to SW, Marvel, Star Trek, LotR, and all those type of stuff... Also put the numbers 4 8 15 16 23 42 in there somewhere.
Can you try and give me a basic design? Like a template?
But I saw one of the mods say that there are a few other lego sites like this one so I guess it makes sense that after the original MBs that they'd just move onto the next one.
True. I just never imagined people finding a way to spread the word about a next one. BTW, what's up with the new background?
Thanks, I expect great progress will be made soon.
Disappointment after disappointment, but through making music I've developed a great love for music so I can just listen to songs I really like to boost moral. But I've learned to stop caring about disappointment because all it does is wreck and if I don't care it can't bother me.
That's great news!
Ah. Well, you're certainly better at managing disappointment than I am. I'd probably pout in the corner or something. Is your music online anywhere? I'd love to listen to it, if it is.
Yeah. \ (•◡•) /
Sometimes, but if it gets really bad then I do hang out in corners or dark places. Yeah actually, I make it my browser and its stored in servers, but I haven't actually published any of it yet. If you want, I can type out what my song looks like.
