Suddenly, I'm feeling sick which I've always hated. For now, I better log off, clear my internet's history, and stay off the internet for a week until I see The Last Jedi. Just read the early reactions and they say that many things happen unexpectedly. Also, I've been avoiding a lot of The Last Jedi-related news, TV Spots, etc. All I've seen related to The Last Jedi are the two trailers, a sort of old behind-the-scenes featurette, some new posters, and that's it. See you again after I've seen it!
I have come here, whenever there is trouble, and in this case, I mean I really screwed up, I really need the help of the great people of the relaxed chatroom, please help (Side note: All names I use below are fake and not the peoples real name)
Ok so the story started on Friday, so I'm in year 11 and theres a girl I fancy a year below me (I'm one of the youngest in the year so we're really close in age) anyways we have this thing every year called: Snowball. Its basically a really fancy evening-night party where everyone dresses really fancy, and this case also wore masks, so I told this girl (Lets call her Emma) That she looked really good and we had some small talk, and stuff.
Then I went up to one of my best friends, (We shall call him Elvis) Elvis is a great guy, I know him real well, he is the kind of person who is both fun but you can have a strong serious conversation with, great guy Love him (as a friend) anyways, I told him that I like Emma and should probs ask her out.
He said: "Do it! Just do it! Do it right now!" anyways I decided nah, I'm not confident now ill ask her out in school, so on Monday ad Tuesday I didn't see her due to scheduling.
Anyways on Wednesday I told Elvis that I will ask her out on a date, and then after a while some of my year 10 friends come up with me, basically all with the same words: "Bad idea, she already knows"
And, so I was obviously like... wait what?
So this is what happened, my friend Elvis as like a light gag, told 1 person, he told my plans, to a guy (who we will call Dutch) Dutch, amased by these news told it to 40 other people... and through word of mouth Emma (The girl I wanted to ask out already knows) This was revealed to me by my mate (who we shall call Gabe)
Gabe told me this: "Emma is avoiding you, because she says that you will ask her out, she doesn't know when, but Dutch told her"
So... that put me in a very, very awkward situation...
So, the next time I saw her, I said I just liked her as a friend, and that I have a girlfriend (I don't)
So to anyone reading this, please help, or atleast share you opinion of this story, was it stupid, irrational, what would you have done, and dear mod modding this post, please help me with some life advice.

Ouch, that must hurt. I've experienced something like that already and not only does it hurt, it can affect you for a very long time. Embarrassment and much worse thoughts (not sure if I can mention it here) might plague your mind, unfortunately, and I'm saying that from experience. Sorry to say this, but I have no advice since even I am suffering from things like this. I really hope I'd do something so that I won't suffer (on) 2018.
Sorry, but The Last Jedi was a big disappointment imo. 5/10.
I've heard a lot of people saying this! Anything in particular you disliked about it? I absolutely looooooooved this movie. My favorite SW film ever, and one of my favorite films, period. It's super weird though, and I can kinda get why it might not click with some people in the way it did with me. But I love everything about. I think it's one of those films which is well-crafted, and there's nothing *objectively* terrible about, but which, *subjectively* has a really odd story which is going to be divisive among fans as it will work for some and not work for others. Thoughts, anyone else who's seen it?

I think the last part was a mistake on your part, also the Dutch guy who told it to the 40 other people. I have been in this situation before (except in reverse where the girl tells the whole year she liked me or something like that idk what happened then). I think thats what happened but I can't remember as it was the beginning of last year when it happened and I was going through a tough time for most of the year. Anyway, since you are in year 11 you should concentrate on the exams and whatever you do in year 11, but you should have got her a secret santa present I think (idk what to say about this, my advise is not very good)

I suffered this twice (sort of). The 2nd time it happened I think the girl liked me as well I can't remember. But the best thing to do is move on and forget about it, maybe go play some Lego games to get your mind of it. (Playing Lego Marvel Superheroes helped a lot in 2015, dunno about 2016 but in 2017 I was over them both)
