The Serpentine were probably the longest lasting villains., ever, come to think of it. They've survived all the way up until Tournament of Elements (which is four years!)

I know what you mean. I remember back when Ninjago first started. I was a bit skeptical at first, as it was basically what took Bionicle's place (no, Hero Factory doesn't count. ) But when I got into the series I thought, hey, this is pretty good! And am now an avid fan.
