Whoever invented them is genius. It is my life goal to create something so addicting that they'll have to come up with a medical term for said addiction. Because it'll make soooooo much money.
I think that's pretty much my order, other than Ant-Man and the Wasp, which is my number one. Spider-Man doesn't have me all that excited, probably because I'm not a huge Spidey fan. I'll probably get super hyped for it, though, when it gets close to release. That always happens with Marvel movies. XD But, yeah, Giacchino! Did you here the sample of his score he posted on his social media?
I know, I kinda wanted a dark tone, too, but I knew it wasn't going to be... I had read interviews with Taika Waititi earlier, and he said that it was going to have a lot of comedy, so I knew what to expect. And once we got it, I just really enjoyed the trailer for what it is, and the movie for what it looks like it'll be. I think it'll be a ton of fun, and the colors look gorgeous.
YESSSSS. That Black Panther teaser was epic. You got a really cool look at Wakanda and its technology. And Chadwick Boseman looks so awesome! So was Andy Serkis and... I forget his name. The actor playing Erik Killmonger. He looks cool. It's all so epic looking! All we need is a Doctor Strange cameo with Everett K. Ross, so that Freeman and Cumberbatch can have another scene together. XD
Obviously because of your username. xD Yeah, the more it gets closer to its release, the more hype I get (not in Thor: Ragnarok's and Infinity War's case though, in a good way). xD Hear* Of course I did, and that's a great way to start the movie (it's gonna play when the MCU logo shows up) and it's gonna prove those "not-so memorable MCU music" dudes wrong (hope fully xD)!
I was actually confused with the tone it was going for. They mentioned before that it's going to have a dark tone and now, there'll be a lot of comedy. The Winter Soldier had some funny moments and yet it still had a serious tone. Still hyped for Thor: Ragnarok tho. And like what others said, it has a GOTG vibe (though for me, I got mostly a Star Wars feeling xP).
Martin Freeman? Michael B. Jordan (aka the famous retired basketball player recent Human Torch from that trainwreck reboot)? He's gonna be way better as Erik Killmonger than Human Torch! That has to happen in Infinity War and also a reference to the scene in The Desolation of Smaug where they first meet, and if they keep Klaw alive, a scene with him too. xD Sadly, the Wasp won't show up until Avengers 4, but the ultimate and complete Hobbit/LOTR reunion has to happen!
YES, that's exactly it. XD I agree. Same for TLJ. I'm already super hyped for that. And thanks for the spell check. I actually think that with the MCU logo was just a fan edit, and not confirmed to actually be the case, but it WOULD be really cool if they did do that. So I hope it's true. I also think the idea that MCU themes aren't good is bunk. There's a TON of great MCU themes.
Yeah, I think they probably planned for the dark tone before they hired Taika Waititi. He's mostly a comedy director, and said it was going to be pretty light shortly after he signed on. I'm actually kinda happy about it, though, because judging from the Thor-Darrell shorts, he's a very funny writer. XD And, yes, I agree. Same for Civil War. The loudest laughs I've ever heard in a theatre were in response to the jokes with Bucky and Falcon in CW. Ragnarok does look a bit SW-y in a way. I hadn't thought of that.
Yep. I didn't get to see him as Torch, but I'm pretty excited for him as Killmonger. He looks pretty awesome. PLUS he's sort of in every Ryan Coogler film, so you know Coogler's going to try and make a good role for him, which means we might get another good Marvel villain! That's so,etching we could definitely use. Also, can you believe Coogler's only 31?! Yes! And don't forget Betty Brant and Hela. And Red Skull. And Skurge. XD
Yeah! He was a pretty big part. They had playable characters of him as himself AND as Batman '66. PLUS a ton of Batman '66 related characters. Him as himself was the guy you rescued, like you do Stan Lee I'm LEGO Marvel.
Actually there was a serial in the '40s with Batman, I think... They changed a lot in it, though. I haven't seen it, but I think it was really weird.
Ooh, interesting. All I knew is that you can play as the '66 Batman and I only knew more about that now!
There was? Then I'll just have to say Adam West's incarnation of Batman is more iconic than that one (I guess?). He and Heath Ledger must be having a great conversation together.
Yah, it's pretty fun. His level is a blast if you've seen the TV series.
Definitely. And don't forget a lot of other cast members from the '66 series, and Bob Kane and Bill Finger themselves!
Yeah, I know what you mean... But they should have plenty of time to develop Flash after they get a filmmaker, because I don't think they announced a release date yet. So they should be able to take their time... Really interested to see who they get for JLD. I was excited by Liman, but he left the project.
Well, at least Wonder Woman is supposed to be good... I stI'll haven't seen any DCEU movies... and I'm not sure I want to, except for Wonder Woman maybe.
I actually really enjoyed BvS: DoJ, but I'm in the extreme minority. It's a good film to watch if you're bored and have a spare three hours. Preferably watch the Extended Edition, it's better. The characters are pretty joyless, but they each have definite goals and philosophies (except for WW, who, for some reason has joy and no particular goal or philosophy. Go figure.) I also love Lex in the film, but he's VERY a different from the comics, so that's also an unpopular opinion. The world-building and cinematography are both brilliant, though, and that's the main reason to watch.
Yeah, Guillermo! Nah, but Benicio left after most of the line were cut. I'm pretty happy with Ray Park's, though.
Couldnt you just post it? I mean, the LMBs accept all appropriate images.
((I think I did, too...))
Any idea what the plot is?
Understandable. Playing Darth Maul doesn't seem like much fun, but Ray Park was excellent.
Oh yeah, if I finish something good, I will.
((Well, let's be done with this section then))
SOMETHING SOMETHING MORE ALIEN KAIJU AND JOHN BOYEGA IS THERE (Official plot synopsis on IMDb )
It actually seems like a lot of fun, but it's probably kinda demeaning for an actor to basically have one line. As it was, Ray Park was kind of a glorified stunt-man, and his voice was dubbed over, but he still hit it out of the park as far as I'm concerned.
Okay, cool beans.
((okie dokie))
If I have the spare money, that's honestly all they need to get me into a theatre seat.
I know I'm overeacting, but is anyone else worried about Trenz? I hope he's ok as it's almost been 3 months without any form of contact, on here and the Lego message boards wiki.
anyone wanna chat?
Don't worry! I'm still in contact with Trenz, and can confirm he is alive and well.
{JAMMERS! -Relaxed Chatroomers- ONLY!} The Jedi and Sith are getting rather corrupt. I am secretly thinking of starting the Grey Jedi. Who would join the Grey Jedi?
Well, 1 New Zealand dollar equals 72 American cents. So $5 in America is 6.93 in New Zealand.
Well, if prices were parallel then that set should've been about $55NZD cheaper.
((Sorry. Don't like to but-in, but my semi-OCD is bothering me )) Actually, if my math is right, and $80USD set should be $111.11NZD. But still over priced.
