Movie adapted books? Yes indeed. Quite a few of them, actually. Should I list a few, or do you have one in mind?
Great way to combine talking about movies and books, btw.
If you list all of yours, I'll list all of mine.
Oh boy, let's see if I can remember. *Pulls up IMDb list anyway*
All of Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Jurassic Park, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Eragon, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Guardians of Ga'Hoole, The Adventures of Tintin, Where the Wild Things Are, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Invention of Hugo Cabret, Percy Jackson, The Chronicles of Narnia, Coraline, The Neverending Story, How To Train Your Dragon, and The Hobbit.
There're a few more, but I'm not sure how strict the rules are about mentioning non-LEGO-owned PG-13 properties, and I think the above is plenty to start with . . .
I don't recognize any of them, but I've heard of Captain Underpants.
Is Fire Star a Warriors book?
Of course. CU is kind of a classic to me. Even though I've never owned the first book, and all the other books in the series I do own are literally falling apart.
No, actually . . . it's confusing. In Warriors, the character Fireheart was renamed Firestar around the same time the completely unrelated book Fire Star came out (2003-ish?). I'm not sure if it's authors getting ideas from each other or crazy coincidence, but . . . well, there it is.
Fire Star is book three of the most bonkers fantasy series I've ever read: the Last Dragon Chronicles (author: Chris d'Lacey, who I believe I've mentioned in this topic before, strangely enough).
TMI? I'll stop rambling.
(Also I'm guessing you don't want any books for Christmas. )
Never read any of them.
That is confusing.
It's okay. I like rambling.
(Of course I do! And I know that I'll get some, too! )
