Uhm, I personally love the book series "The Song of the Summer King"...super awesome, I recommend the heck out of it >_< On a slighty (only slighty ) darker side, I love The Silence of the Lambs as well!
as for my favorite quote...oh boy...probably something from Edgar Allan Poe. He had so many that were just awesomely insane!

Welcome! What are those books about?
The Song of the Summer King is...strange. It's about a young gryfon whose tribe seems to have a grudge against him, despite his only difference being his lack of flashy, vibrant feathers and heavy build. When the tribe declares war on a tribe of wolves that live on the same island as them, the gryfon, Rashard, must decide if the unreturned faith he places in the red gryfon king is more important than the secrets the wolves know about his own past.
It's really intriguing, and I'm very fond of the writing style ^_^
Silence of the Lambs is about a young, promising FBI agent who must play a dangerous game with one of the world's most feared psychopaths: Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a master manipulator. She must use his brilliant mind to catch another serial killer that continues to elude investigation, and make sure she is not the one being used.
This one is remarkably clever, but much deeper and darker than the former, and just generally completely different.
Authors? Well, I used to like Rick Riordan, but his increasingly open and constant attack on the christian faith has kinda turned me away. But there's also Brandon Mull, Christopher Paolini, Brian Jacques, Trenton Lee Stewart, Tui T Sutherland, and N.D Wilson right off the top of my head.
There are a lot of great quotes, but none particularly come to mind right now, guess I'll have to think on this...

What type of books do you prefer?
I think I've heard of Silence of the Lambs. But I've never heard what it's about.
ok... favorite film quote that i can think of at least is from the clone wars. "Wait i'm not the commander he's the commander *bang* ok i guess im the commander now"
Okay I have a problem. Everyone time I make a post, it takes me down to the very last post. And then I'll have to go back a couple pages and find where I was at again.
Yeah, it does that to everyone. What I do is right-click the reply button and open it in a new tab. Then when I'm done making my post and it takes me to the bottom of the last page I close it, go back to the original tab and continue scrolling through the topic.

Yeah, my sister used to read a lot of Rick Riordan, but I think she stopped. I don't believe I am familiar with those authors, except for maybe Sutherland. What books did he write?

I've seen Silence of the Lambs. Great movie! I didn't know it was a book though. And this Song of the Summer King seems very intriguing.
I've finished 4 books since we last spoke. I think that counts as new. :brag:
Nice. Which books?
*checks "recently read" bookshelf*
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: Original Screenplay (by you know who ), Claws by Mike and Rachel Grinti, The Bellmaker (Redwall #7) by Brian Jaques,
Dragonwatch by Brandon Mull,
The Great Hunt (Wheel of Time #2) by Robert Jordan, and The Erth Dragons (auto-correct doesn't like this title, but that is how you spell it ) by Chris d'Lacey.
