Ooc: I am aware of that but even if, you shoot them down as shamrock said the after blast still causes damage, also your anti air wouldn't have predicted the first few shots so they would have hit, and these weren't aimed at the tower, these were aimed at the factories below as established in the shot before this pummeling
OOC: If they were aimed at the factories, the anti-aircrafts would have an even better chance of hitting the shells. A bit of debris from the destroyed shells would hit the factories, I guess.
OOC: The blast from the shell exploding in mid air would still cause major damage.
Yamato is taken from his cell and escorted by twelve Eagles to a small room, with a table and two chairs. The room is lit by small, barred windows set high on the walls, out of reach. A treaty, quill and inkpot lie on the table, and an Eagle sits on the other side. The guards take up positions by the doors (one door is behind Yamato, and other behind the Eagle).
Eagle Diplomat: "Mayor Yamato. Please, sit."
If Yamato sits, the Eagle waits until he has sat down. If he does not, he continues speaking.
"Owing to the state of war which currently exists between the Eagle Tribe and the Gorilla Tribe, your town of Casablanche has been placed under siege. If it surrenders, hands over any weapons to the Eagles, and consents to its officials being placed in Eagle custody, no one need get hurt. If they do not, we will have to take it by force. The citizens have stated that they cannot surrender without you. This document contains the terms. Unless you want to force us to attack with force, I suggest you sign it."

OOC: Follow up posts! Again; anyones free to interact(btw thank y'all for the seven likes on that first post . Was it that good?)
As the two eagles exit, the door to the hidden bunker of rooms begins getting closed off by dark stone walls. It's revealed the two are inside a cavern on the side of the main spire. “We’ll head to the mouth of the cave and go back up to city where you can rest home for the time- with assistance by your side, of course. You took quite an injury to the chest after that scoundrel of a raven took a cheap shot at you.”
Eeran blinks, tilting his head at the doctor. “I was shot? That put me out of commision for months? I thought I got smashed by rocks or something that can make sense!”
The doctor rolls his eyes. “Not like there could have been any other excuse to write in why you were gone…” He mutters. “Aaanyways, thankfully the shot wasn't too fatal. The wound is gone, but the pain might still linger. But since you've been taking your beauty sleep these past months, it shouldn't annoy you too much. Eventually it will feel like you were never attacked at all.”
They eventually make it outside of the cave entrance. Eeran prepares to fly up, but the doctor stops him by grabbing his shoulder. “Not yet. You've just woken up, and you barely had anything to eat to keep your strength. Thankfully, we have technology on our side…” The doctor smirks, and proudly points at a set of stairs inconspicuously sculpted into the side of the main spire.
“How lovely. Exercising on the first day up.” Eeran quips. They both begin making a bit of a lengthy trek up the stairs, and in a few minutes they're up to one of the landing platforms on the side of the spire.
OOC: I appreciate narrative block posts when they’re interesting and easy to read. Sadly, I don’t have anybody that could interact with this. Who knows when Jai and Eeran will even meet?

OOC: So the blast of the shell is big enough to still cause major damage when blown up at a safe distance by anti-air? Seems like a WMD.

OOC: Okay.
IC: The damaged factories are evacuated as Crawlers and eagles gather water from the nearby rivers to put out the fire. Construction vehicles from other factories drive toward the site.

OOC: heck, that's fine with me :U. Besides, this is the most I've written seriously in ages, think of it as practice xD.
They could meet eventually... Whenever Eeran recovers at least :U.

Yamamoto: I would like to see the agreement.
*Please write out the agreement*
The diplomat slides the parchment across the table.
The Treaty of Casablanche
The Gorillas of Casablanche shall surrender to the Eagles. They will allow the Eagles to enter Casablanche and remain there as long they will without resisting them. They will hand over all Gorilla officials, and submit to Eagle rule. They will yield all arms within the city and hand them over to the Eagles. They will carry no arms without permission from the Eagles.
The Eagles will allow the Gorillas to remain peacefully in Casablanche. They will not be evicted, attacked, or in any way faced with hostility unless they break the terms of this agreement.
OOC: So the blast of the shell is big enough to still cause major damage when blown up at a safe distance by anti-air? Seems like a WMD.
OOC: Ok a massive shell blows up over your head with the power of 1/2 killotons it would do some minor damage atleast.
OOC The whole point of the defenses are to blow that stuff up from a safe distance. However, I would argue over whether such massive defenses should be allowed, just as quickly as I would argue against the existence of your giant gun that can snipe HQs at leisure.

Ewinus Lord of the Eagle Council
{Space for Yamato's signature}
Yamamoto: Ok, this is far too vague.
1) Who counts as an official? Does my secretary count? Does my janitor count? I mean both are civil servants? Do the police count? What will happen to the police?
2) What about the military and the navy? Will they be arrested too, what will happen to the ships? Or the ship blue-prints? What about the people who built the ships will they be arrested too? I mean we have about 2 thousand or maybe even 3 thousand navy men working there as sailors and ship builders, what will happen to them?
3) What about the rights? You said they will not be: evicted, attacked or faced with any hostility, well that can be done in a police state aswell. What about all the other rights: To property, life, liberty and the right that all are equal by the eyes of the law, speaking of law what laws will Casablanche follow: eagle laws or gorilla laws?
4) What about the freedoms like: Press, faith, assembly, speech and the right to vote and elect representaives, I mean the gorilla election is coming up, and Casablanche will vote for the first time, so its a major turning point for them, and I'm certain the gorillas wont really be willing to very much give up on their freedoms.
5) We are a major West Sea City, a gem to the collection of any nation, and so it has a lot of gun-smuggling, its possible many people, will just keep guns in secret, and we don't have very good gun databases, so we don't know who has and who hasn't got guns.
6) What happens if an eagle, maybe even an eagle national, attacks a gorilla, will they face punishments? And if a gorilla fights back, do they break the terms of agreement?
7) What happens when the terms break? Do all gorillas get killed or evicted or some other horrible crime commited to them?
8) How can the people be know they will not be exploited or the superior economy of the region unjustly abused by high taxation?
9) Also how many positions will eagles take over? Will the gorillas have any say?
10) Will eagles move into Casablanche as permanent residents other than the officials?
Those are my questions, and we will negotitate this treaty.

OOC: Listen to Hell March to the Apocalypse while reading.
IC:
Amongst the forests and plains of the Eagle territory, far away from any settlements, several trucks and APCs set up, camouflaged by nets and hidden amongst bushes and trees. Figures dressed green and brown ponchos and helmets dress up large communications antennae, hidden as trees and tall bushes. A few hours later, a brief message is broadcast over a few radio waves, into the occupied territory.
"This is Pronto company! We will commence ECM procedures in T minus 10! Switch to pre-planned channels immediately! Five, four..." Suddenly, all radios and wireless connections in the expanses of Eagle territories stop working, as they are filled with either static or distorted versions of Chimean folk songs. The possibility of a nation-wide prank is quickly dismissed as copious amounts of long-distance missiles sail across the skies to strike communications antennae, and telephone lines are cut. Transport planes descend from the stratosphere along the borders, and bouquets of parachutes are tossed from the skies as men and vehicles are dropped near the aforementioned positions. Attack helicopters circle the borders, lighting up any Overwatch or Bat elements with powerful weapons, and armoured divisions punch through the border. All vehicles are equipped with military loudspeakers, and their commanders broadcast messages through them to the rightful citizens of the territory.
"ATTENTION! This is an incursion against the forces of the Crawler Empire only! All Eagle civilians, please retreat into your homes and shelters where you shall not be disturbed."

OOC: Great read, great song, but wait so we allowed radios or did we not? I'm still sticking by my cable radio idea.

Several transport planes are destroyed by Blastzone 1s hidden in locations far away from the Eagle territory, some before they drop their troops, some after. Some of the attack helicopters are also shot down, although due to their size this is much harder for the Blastzone's to pull off.

OOC: I don't think you can hit transport planes flying at hundreds of miles per hour with a cannon from thousands of kilometres away, especially when there is no way to transmit the coordinates.
