Valix uses his quick healing ability to heal the damage from the Plasma he was unable to dodge. "Ugh...your efforts in trying to speak in cliché heroic lines are hurting my eyes. Will you just stop." He silences Illidak and uses Slowness to slow down Illidak's movement for his next attack.
Compared to the crazy acrobatics Illidak was performing before, he has been slowed to a crawl. However, even the slowed version of Illidak is quite fast, and manages to blast more and more plasma at the Makuta, coming at him from different angles to try and force a hit to happen.
Below the coliseum, not near the Core Processor, but far below the coliseum, a chamber crackles. Machinery whirs, cogs sliding into place, pistons finally pumping, as a figure, likely a Toa, sits in a chair, surrounded by thousands of cables, with various floating monitors surrounding the being. Tendrils of energy trickle into the machines, powering the ancient technology.
They glow white. "So.. Mnemosyne has sent her disciples after I... Nyx has plotted one of her grandest schemes. The Legacy Virus has done it's job.. Yet this would not be enough. Fate must run it's course. Life must blossom.. But for life to grow, death must rain down."
The energy flashes yellow.

Assuming this is the Core Processor, the Toa is immediately disintegrated by its defense systems, which are programmed to annihilate all unauthorized living beings that enter, with the exception of Makuta, since they cannot be detected.

As soon as Volek speaks such words, a copy of Anakritis, the very Makuta of Metru Nui herself, appears. Not that Volek would know it's Anakritis. Or he might. I dunno. "You mean to tell me, a public location is under quarantine by order of a Makuta who holds no authority in this island? You mean to tell me, that Makuta Kratark, He Who Should Not Be Looked In The Eyes, who holds absolutely no sway over Metru Nui, has quarantined a PUBLIC location?"
Anakritis smiles at Volek. "As the Makuta of Metru Nui, I order you to stand down. You will let Makuta Valix pass, and if you refuse, you are a traitor to the Brotherhood, and will be executed. Treason is not allowed."
