*The startled turtles duck to the ground and retreat into their shells, sending both of us skidding over the smooth surfaces and back onto the ground*
Oooooooof. That'll be tough.
*I get up to continue chasing you*
Thankfully today the increased workload isn't a thing yet, so they let some of us (myself included) go home early. Tomorrow it should be in full swing.
*I stuff myself inside one of the turtles' shells to hide*
I started typing a different sentence, then I processed how slow my replying is rn. Has it quietened down in my two-month AWOL-ness from our conversation?

*I stop, waiting for you to show yourself*
XD Well it's not nearly as bad as that one week, but we either still haven't recovered and/or are just understaffed.

*The shell in question starts rocking from side to side as the turtle and I jostle for space*
Ah, good. And not so good. Have you been up to anything outside of work lately?

*I approach that shell*
Well, I have a boyfriend now, that's been developing for the past few months. And he was back on the Lego Gallery when that was a thing, though we didn't interact there. Funny how that managed to come about.

*It suddenly goes very still as both of us hear you approaching*
Ah, congrats! That's cool. Did you meet him at any sort of Lego-related context or was it complete coincedence?

We met elsewhere on the internet, connected through a mutual friend who was also on the Lego Gallery.

*me and the turtle both fall out and stare up at you, shell-shocked*
Ah, makes sense.
*another jumps out of me and into your head*
Hello, Shamrock.
Also interesting is that me and him bonded while working on a story together, a story which I probably wouldn't have gotten involved in if it didn't have a version of General Flame... So in a way, you helped with this too.

*I bumped my head falling from the shell and am slightly confused*
Hello, who are you?
Huh, so our weird ideas from party topics in 2016 aren't just keeping LMBE alive, they're creating love. That's brilliant.

*The wind flows over the Passenger and rises high into clouds of mist. It passes over a dark forest where a river of chocolate runs, and over a field where minifigures in strange clothing work the fields. They turn their heads and look towards a distant volcano where chocolate bursts from a high cap and runs down the slopes. Below and around the mountain stands a great city, its high walls patrolled by gorillas. An island of civilisation in the wilds of the abyss, a source of sustenance and a place of evil. A city all long to look upon, and where all fear to tread. Its name...Bournville.*
