I have a couple of questions about Old Magic spells in particular.
1. What are the rules/limitations/strenghts of Spacial Anchor Runes?
2. How complicated can Runes get? can you make an artificial human brain with them?
3. Is their anything currently that can assist in merging Old and New Magic? however vague the connection, I'd like to know that.
1. They basically just bind the target in the area inside them. The higher the Tier, the more powerful an entity they can hold. The Tarasque could only be held by a high-tier rune because it was very powerful. The same would go for large groups. The more people/entities, the higher the Tier. 2. No. That is very close to creating intelligent life, which is certainly Tier 7 and thus impossible. 3. Nothing in particular, but that doesn't mean they can't be merged. I'll have to give some though to that.

Just wondering how you're coming on getting the answer to number 3. Also, number 2, I noticed that is only answered the second half of the question. So, How complicated can Runes become?
Tul Generas of the Orcs, Darthraxx of the dragon Knights. I RP, and have lots of fun.
Could you tell me all you know about the Runic Magic? When you're done with you events, I'd be willing to take over the Rune Knowledge for you, which is why I'm asking.

I haven't really done anything with it. If you have any ideas, I'd be happy to hear them. So I did. They could theoretically get pretty complicated, really as complicated as you want so long as they don't do anything that would be considered Tier 7. Also, the more complicated you make them, the more likely you will be to need the creating a new spell rule.

There's not really that much to know, as far as I see it. You already know all the rules about how it can be used, and for the most part it can do the same things as the New Magic. What the creating a new spell rule applies to is rather subjective. Anything that you know for sure has already been done obviously would be exempt, but other than that it really comes down to what you think it is likely someone would have put in a book. There's a lot of fire-related stuff in Cinead's book (one of the best ones out there) because he was a pyromancer, but also just as much stuff that isn't. If you have any more specific questions, I'd be happy to answer them. It's just sort of difficult to answer something this broad.

Got it. Well, I do have a couple ideas. First, I believe that it is likely that their is a rune or rune cluster for Merge. That would make sense after all, and would probably help in creating complex spells. In addition, their would be some kind of Power Rune, Which mixed with a Merge rune or something could be used to mix the two. Also, their is the chance that the answer might in in New Magic, due to New Magic being more flexible and easier to create with. You could create some object, and mix runes to create, say, a Tier 3 Spell of Power, which you could then use to cast an addition Tier 3 spell, this time of New Magic, to create a Tier 5 spell of the Mixed Magic. You could do the same with a sword, creating a variation of the Spacial Anchor rune, mixed with a Rune of Power and a Rune of Release or something like that, to allow you to put two enchantments on an object in New Magic. Also, Perhaps their is a way to draw, say, a Rune of Summoning on your hand, and then channel New Magic through it, to recreate an Old Magic Spell like a Spatial Anchor Rune, without the long time of actually creating it.
So pretty much, no limits other than Tier-Wise. got it. Yes, I understand that. Also, you do realize that I practically made new life with Rojinn? how do you explain that? Is it because I took it slowly?

OK. So you don't really know. OK.

That all makes sense. I would add that it can be quite dangerous to imbue one's own self with runes. It is sometimes done in Stennev'avfjellan, but only with very simple runes like basic strength or speed enhancers and be both costly and unsafe.
Pretty much. That is a good point. I would say it is a combination of the high number of spells used, the use of the Crystal (unless I'm remembering wrong), and the fact that Rojinn maybe doesn't quite match up to human intelligence.

There's probably something I'm forgetting, but yes, I don't really know it all. Like I said, though, more specific questions would help, as it's difficult to answer something so broad.

Then maybe you put it on an orb or something, but you get the idea across with it. OK. If it happens in Stennev'avfjellan, then a Mixture might be able to help that happen more effiecently, but I'd have to think about it.
Ok. Mostly Makes sense. Although how would the Crystal help? It really only helped shape the body. Or are you going to decide that it helped in some other way that I didn't realize? Also, yeah it doesn't match. It's a very different Organism, although the intelligence overall is similar. a.k.a. He has the same/close to same intelligence level, but he might not arrive to the same conclusion, arrive to it in a different way, etc. that is not quite right.

Putting it on items is also an option.
Just that the Crystal is very powerful, but if it was only used for the body it probably didn't have any effect. Okay.
