IC: Rinia started building an army of rock-flingers and infantry, she sent out spies to the other tribes and borrowed some ET-airplanes. When the army was fully built she started marching to lion city...
OOC: Okay, this actually works, since the Rhinos needed a new leader.
(OOC: Darn if i wasn't so inactive i've could've made this a puppet state for the Forgotten!)
OOC: *Shifts eyes and begins to sweat...* I took too long perfecting mine story...but all the future possibilities now opened...*rubs hands with excitement*

My new headcanon/explanation is that, during the Rhinos' timeskip between the Rixia-Ronegan rule and the current age, Lysandre allied with the Rhinos, but found out about a plot by the ET agents in the Rhino Tribe to assassinate the Queen and Prime Minister. So, unable to locate the assassins (and unaware of Rixia's only living relative, Rorik), Lysandre abducted Rixia and Ronegan, taking them to New Lysandre Labs to keep them safe, in his classic "kidnapping for the greater good" fashion.
Then Rorik was crowned King by the Rhinos, and the rest followed suit.

OOC: Cool. I'm still reading up on the lore, but this sounds great.

(OOC: The race for the Rhino ruling is on~...)
-Some Rhino outlaws, known to the Rhino public, begin cropping up in Forgotten attire all around the tribal territory. The perfect disguises to keep them hidden from prying eyes, nobody noticed or batted a horn or eye to them.-
-Many of them were meeting in a known public square, on-lookers were looking, but with rocks-for-brains, they didn't really care for their smarter brethren conversing amongst each other, prolly a distate for upper class and their shenanigans-
Rhino Outlaw A: "The Throne of Rhino Leadership is wide open, it seems to be some sort of... strange prolapsed memory of some rhino noble related to the Rolex family. An easy target. We'll pin it on these crazy Forgotten People, i want those guys gone from Chima, their ideals of a free unitary state is just unconceivable! They've stretched themselves too thin, and i want them to take more blame and tear them apart further! Now whose with me then, boys and girls~?"
-the fellow outlaws around him held their hand out, hand over hand, the agreeful alliance settles on a yea-
-Meanwhile in the shadows, REAL Forgotten Rhinos look upon these fakers and they smirked with an idea, a Forgotten-controlled Rhino State, the populaion is easy o sway to their cause, wouldn't hurt to have a bunch more rhinos and their tech along for the Forgotten to use.-
Forgotten Rhino: "Central command, this is Recon R, we got ourselves some hot-shots here... traitors or just people cosplaying as us to put blame on us. I suggest we prolly have our allies... if we have any left... deal with them."

The black dye fading from her feathers, Eliaphet looks over the town square from atop a boulder far away. Flipping her glasses back into a pocket watch, she slides off the rock and hides behind it, thinking to herself. "Perhaps it was not his time to return."
Dashing between the jagged crevasses, Eliaphet rubs her beak in frustration. "But who told them? Who-" In her haste, a feather from her forearm is torn off by the sharp end of a rock. Pausing to pick it up as to conceal her presence, Eliaphet's eyes are overcome with fury. "Ryd..."
Taking off, she circles the area before diving. Dressed in the blue robes of an Eagle student from before the reign of the current King, Eliaphet lands in front of a Rhino Administrator attempting to calm the public.
"Excuse me! Yes, this is a turbulent-oh! Who-what?" The confused Rhino is startled by Eliaphet's sudden entrance.
Strolling through the square in between a crowd of supporters and dissenters, Eliaphet taps her watch. "Hmm, exactly four minutes late...on the ticket. I must be getting rusty." Turning her head aside, she feigns surprise at the Rhino Administrator as if only noticing him now. "Ah, well, hullo. Can you direct me to the Rhino library? Surely, there must be chronicles filled with the luminous history of the oft overlooked Rhino Tribe." The last few lines are muttered under her breath, confusing the Rhino Administrator even further by suddenly raising her voice in shock.
"wHaT is tHaT?" Rushing past the Administrator, Eliaphet dangles a pebble from her hand before throwing it in the air and catching it. "A piece of sedimentary art?! Beautiful!"
Scratching his head, the Administrator picks up another pebble and brings it close to his face. "Uh..um..I don't see any-"
The crowd interjects to bring forth their own opinion.
"Yes, the way the sun catches its sandy appearance!"
"Yup yup. Can't beat earthen tones."
Soon the town square is filled with enthusiastic tribe members sharing their recently procured assortment of earthenware, neglecting how common they were to a quarry.
Brushing dust off her shoulder, Eliaphet offers a handshake to the Administrator. "Now to the business of names and location of the library, my fellow intellectual."
Stuttering, the Administrator's face twists into a goofy smile at the compliment. "Er, yes. I am Administrator Roope and-"
His voice falters as a troupe of three Rhinos led by one clothed in white and grey threading approaches the pair. The leader's face reeks of frustration.
OOC: The J The administrator is not of really high position, rather just a keeper of the library and who works to keep the townsfolk in a happy mood by working at the lower level's of Rhino government...or monarchy I assume at this point. More of a side character to get Eliaphet into the library.

Patting Administrator Roope on the shoulder, Eliaphet straightens the cuffs of her robe before comically trotting to the grumbling group. Performing an eloquent bow, she extends a second handshake. "Ah, right. And you must be the honorable-"
The Leader roughly brushes her hand away and points an accusing finger at Roope. "You were instructed to admit no visitors!"
Fumbling with his fingers, Roope shifts his eyes away from his superior's glare. "I...I-"
Sliding in between them, Eliaphet lowers her hand. "I do believe I requested a handshake and a name?" She throws a charming smile, urging him to take the handshake.
The Leader growls before accepting. "And you are?"
Clasping it suddenly, Eliaphet violently shakes it until the Leader's arm is sore and deposits the pebble she was holding. "Seeking to gain wisdom in the histories of the tribes of course! May I see your library?"
Pulling his arm back, the Leader looks his sorrowful hand over—momentarily finding interest in the pebble. "Ach, what for?"
"Why to finish my chronicles of course! Must place a few footnotes on my latest map you know." Digging into her satchel, she unfurls a scroll and shows off its contents. "An outdated map is good for the history books, but Chima's drastic changes have left me quite behind the curve! So...may I be allowed in?"
Administrator Roope sheepishly raises his hand. "Dare we turn away an honest cartographer Administrator Rufe?"
Snatching the scroll, Rufe flips it upside down and inspects it. "Hmm...needs more rock formations." Closing it with a flourish, he hands it back to Eliaphet. "You are allowed entry...under heavy watch."
