As the first-in-command,


Of this L-M-B-E band,



It's my job to let you know,


all the rules before the show,



Not gonna tell you twice,


I'll tell you once, that should suffice.


Just keep this in your head,

So first you'll need an instrument,


anything will do,


So long as it makes music and,


the music's made by you,



For example at one gig,


I took a bucket and a twig,


and I beat a simple rhythm of a simple little jig,



So now you'll need a uniform,


Tuxedo and bow tie,


Cuz' lots of bands are wearing them,


Ours not to reason why.



Now all you need is rhythm,


stuff you can't buy from a store,


If you fill the room with rhythm,


they'll be shouting out ''encore!''



That'll get you started,


in your musical career,


so keep your concerts charted,
