That's a terrifying price tag for gas. That's a good plan of just bringing your LEGO to your apartment in batches instead of the entire collection at once. Easier to organize as well. I remember IKEA does have some shipping options, though that's pretty interesting your friend accidentally received two Box #2s of something. LEGO rarely makes that mistake when it comes to numbered bags.
Wow, that's awesome. All of those are pretty good sets, and the promos are really nice too. Too bad I missed out on those. Hopefully when you order the Muppets minifigures you won't get any duplicates. You've got a lot of LEGO to build.
Ah yes, the classic distribution of grades, just as I remember. There's always the one student who gets the highest score while everyone else including me just barely makes it. Hopefully your professor will apply a generous curve to the grades. True, hopefully the won't bother you about grades. Awesome, congratulations on finishing your first year of PhD! I've finally got a little bit of a break on my project, so now I can relax a lot more.
I imagine it's even more now, as I noticed it at $4.50 in the city.
I was figuring I'd rip off the bandaid and get everything down here at once, but since my folks were able to get most of it down here relatively quickly, I figured this was the best option. I've been trying to pick up some furniture from students doing moveout sales online, but apparently you need to have notifications on and be on top of that to get anything... which I don't really care enough to do. Might just order my IKEA stuff now and be done with it.
I recall I did have 2 sets over the years with screwed up bags.
I'm not too huge into the minifigs anymore, I feel I have more than enough (seriously I'm going through my collection here and finding stuff I forgot I had), but Muppets are pretty cool, so hopefully not sold out.
My advisor seemed willing to give me full funding for the fall semester, so hopefully I won't have to TA anything then. Thankfully all my grades came back good. I just need to take 2 more classes in addition to all the dissertation requirements, so now I can shift my focus to research, away from classes. I think my summer internship in R&D will help put me in the right mindset for doing serious research work in the fall. It's been a year since I was doing any sort of research-oriented task, so the first few weeks might be a little painful.
Have you been doing anything fun outside work?
I guess it's rising again. Gotta watch out.
That's good. Save money from those Uhauls. Oh yeah, those moving out deals go pretty quick. I remember me and me roommate selling some furniture and students wanted it the same day we posted them online. IKEA is probably easier to work with.
Interesting. And these sets were new in box?
Kind of same with me. I'm mainly into specific minifgure parts that I think look cool, but not really into actual characters. Muppets will probably be around for a while.
That'll be nice to have those funds covered. Awesome, I guess that means no more exams and no more homework for you, besides your dissertation and research of course. It'll definitely be busy, but hopefully a lot of fun as well.
Mainly just playing video games with my brother, and going to shopping malls on the weekends.
No worries, I totally understand. It's always a busy time toward the end of the school year.
Yeah, I've ended up just wearing jeans instead, even if it's a warm day.
I hope so too. It's been too dry lately.
Interesting. I'll have to look out for these pineapple gummy bears if I happen to run into any. They seem exquisite.
It was definitely a very wild last semester of my college career.
Glad you found a solution of some sort
That's not good. Wildfire season is in full swing here. Hopefully you get some more rain soon so you don't have the same problem
You should definitely try some if you have the chance. I need to see if I can find any made without corn syrup. It's been awhile since I had some that didn't involve the concern of an allergic reaction.
Congratulations on graduating, Mipollo! It's been a long, but hopefully adventurous college career.
Yep, it works, even though I don't prefer jeans.
It's been looking gloomy and cloudy lately so hopefully that means it won't be dry and hot.
Ah, I see. Corn syrup is a common ingredient in most gummy snacks, so it seems you may have to go to a specialty store or something.

I want everything from IKEA in black-brown to match what I already have and naturally they're sold out of most of their drawer solutions in that color so I'm unwilling to spend $70 on shipping on an incomplete order. I shall keep waiting and see what occurs. No luck on the online sales front yet, though.
Yes, new in box with serious mistakes. My favorite was the one that had a bag that didn't even belong to the set in it.
I'm not sure how interested I am in custom minfigs these days, but I pretty much have the parts to make whatever I please should I get the urge.
Yes, I can finally start to feel like an adult by not being in class all the time.
Have you had a chance to play the new lego star wars yet?
