I agree, though I haven't personally spent much time there.
As is Pittsburgh, and Minneapolis, and Houston, and Jacksonville, and Memphis, and Chicago, and California cities, and NYC, and Detroit, and Albuquerque. Well, most big cities are pretty bad. The only ones I like or kinda like are Fort Worth, Nashville and Denver.
You're rather opinionated. I am glad you didn't mention my city. I went to Pittsburgh as a kid and thought it was all right... but too many hills. I've been to Albuquerque but didn't see a whole lot... just the university and Sandia Peak. So I don't have much of an opinion there. Went to Nashville and Memphis when I was 16, I enjoyed the vibes of both, especially Nashville, but I suppose I can understand why Memphis could get a bad rep. Too humid, anyway
I'll definitely get the new Mando starfighter, we'll see about anything else. Given the number of unopened sets I have here I tend to feel guilty about buying even more. We did not build LEGO, though we did spend a while looking at my coin collection. Perhaps LEGO when she visits again this month.
Well, it's such an iconic scene. They've made the cloud city guards enough times and they have a far less significant role.
Yes, I think thin canvas is an adequate comparison.
I'm not sure if paying $5 a day for the metro comes anywhere close to what a car costs...
That'll be pretty cool. I think LEGO fans having a closet full of unopened LEGO sets is quite common, which I'll admit I don't quite fully understand. I see. What kind of coins do you have in your coin collection? Hopefully that'll be the time.
That's true. All I know is that there's quite a lot of factors in choosing what becomes a set, and I have no idea what those factors are.
Ah, I see. Sounds like it won't tear easily.
Right, though the convenience of a car is that you can hold lots of things like groceries, supplies, etc, depending on if you need that kind of thing. Now that I think about it, how do people who use the metro as their main commute get groceries? I can't imagine they'd make multiple trips, or bring their own cart with them.
I have some 11 year old unopened star wars sets at my parents', plus some near-worthless polybags from the 80s. I just collect circulated coins. I like to find joy in the mundane - look at your laundry money and you find something you've never seen before. I so rarely use cash anymore that all I tend to get my hands on is quarters, which I need for the laundry machines in my building. I've had great success in filling in my state and national park collections. I'm excited to start seeing some of the "american women" quarters which begin production this year.
Well, I live across the street from a grocery store. Every week and a half to two weeks I go to the supermarket a few blocks away because I like the deli and the prices are a little better than the local place. Sometimes I take my personal cart over there with me, but usually I just carry everything. It's not particularly difficult for just me, though I imagine if you have a family to feed it would be cumbersome to carry. I also think most urban areas tend to have a local grocery of some sort one can walk to, rather than take transport. Who knows

But the Steelers play in Pittsburgh. Albuquerque's pretty bad. I grew up about 2 1/2 hours away from Albuquerque. I always avoided Albuquerque like the plague. I hated it so much that I actually never went to Sandia Peak. Yeah, Nashville's pretty cool. Broadway St. is cool. Good BBQ. Memphis has good BBQ as well. However, I prefer Texas BBQ. I'm more of a brisket guy.

Note that I said "as a kid" But nah, excluding the sports it's not too terrible. Hate the Steelers, don't care for the Penguins, and the Pirates are just a meme. Man, I grew up near Wilmington, Delaware, which is only added to online lists if they involve "unsavory cities" I haven't had some brisket in a hot minute. Need to tell my dad to make some if I visit my parents this summer.

Denver is only exciting by virtue of being one of the only big cities in the vicinity
