“Follow me then.” Corvus does a heel turn and proceeds down a stretch of hallway. At the end he places a hand on a scanner and the door opens with a hiss. Proceeding inside, the lights flicker on illuminating a moderately sized room containing a vast assortment of weaponry. Everything anyone could want. “Take your pick. Whatever you can fit on your person.”
"Woah, cool." He goes over and picks up a random piece of armor that looked interesting. "What does this do?"
Eric looks up, and from his hiding spot in the shadows starts opening portals to intercept some of the energy blasts.
Inharax notices the lack of death and uses Explosion to directly destroy targets.

“INHARAX!!”
The bellow echoes across the city, it’s source unmistakable. The hulking form of Makuta Karunax approaches, his giant, powerful wings keeping him aloft.

Inharax freezes up, comically ignoring the obliteration of a massive warehouse. His eyes widen, and he slowly turns in midair, his wings dancing a mad series of twists and turns in order to maintain his position in the sky while rotating. His eyes confirm what he heard. Makuta Karunax is here -- now.
"Karunax..."
Inharax sends Confusion across Xia as he screams at the other Makuta. "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! WHAT BRINGS YOU HERE?!"

Yet another Makuta joins the fray. However, this one makes no grandiose entrance, just seeming to pop into existence on a nearby building. Unceremoniously, he plops himself onto its metallic surface, watching whatever events might unfold below.

Karunax thunders his reply,
"I COULD ASK YOU THE SAME THING!!"
He stops about 15 feet from Inharax, his massive size making the distance seem much smaller. With a wide grin (revealing rows of wicked teeth), Karunax rumbles,
"Brother, it is has been too long! It's refreshing to see you back in action. What brings you to this sea of vermin so quickly after your return?"
He gestures to the city below, guffawing as the wave of confusion takes its toll on the populace.

Inharax laughs and returns the grin. "I sensed conflict and depravity and, naturally," Inharax swept his hand over the mesmerized island, flashing a mad eye at Karunax, "I came to it." Adopting a more composed stance, he asks the massive Juggernaught, "Shall we take this pathetic island?"

Another Makuta slithers into Xia, holding a gun glowing with green liquid. Accompanying this makuta is a woman seemingly covered in thorns, and one wearing a muaka cloak. The final member to their party is a tall, winged valkyrie with a spear of frost.

Karunax has to stop himself from his instinct to gleefully rampage like a mindless beast, and instead thinks for a moment. What does this mean for the Brotherhood’s Plan? Would revealing the Makuta’s true nature so soon bring all that planning to ruin? For a brief moment, he considers calling out Inharax as a traitor for acting outside the Brotherhood’s interests by recklessly attacking Xia.
But the Juggernaut really gives it some thought. This is how it should be, he ponders. The Brotherhood should be a mighty, unstoppable force to be feared across the world, not some scheming parasite that worms its way into power through pleasing the vermin. Indeed, there is a place for such subterfuge in the grand game of conquest, but Karunax thinks back to what that’s costed the Brotherhood thus far: a splintered faction, infighting, and a barely-occupied throne.
Inharax’s trustworthiness may be questionable at best, but he was undeniably powerful, cunning, and ruthless. Were he to challenge for the throne, there would be no contest.
Karunax finds his resolve, and his wicked smile widens.
“With pleasure.”
He folds his wings, and with a thunderous roar that echoes across all of Xia, he plummets to the city below like a meteor. The sky almost seems to fall with him as he raises both fists high over his head, and he crashes right through the roof of a skyscraper. He plunges through floor after floor, and once he reaches the ground, he brings both fists down upon the foundation with amazing force. The building completely explodes, and the ground surges from the point of impact in every direction, sending cascading waves of debris across a radius of ten city blocks. Many structures totally collapse, and many more unfortunate beings are caught in the devastation.

Kadrina stands in a darkened office, staring out at the destruction.
"Anarchy is coming. I need someone sane. Where's Landrinia?"
'The Lady Landrinia appears to have left the island. Her office in Xian High Command is a wreck, while the street outside her residence appears to be at the centre of the destruction. We haven't had any response from her guards.'
"Very well. Place the guards on standby; those Makuta could get here at any moment. Oh, and contact the main building - ask that blithering idiot Corvus why in the name of Mata Nui he hasn't dispatched a force to contain those Makuta. Keep it anonymous - until we find out what happened to Landrinia, I have no wish to draw attention to myself."
The attendant bows out of the room, closing the door. Locking it behind him, Kadrina goes over to her desk and unlocks a drawer. Taking a large number of documents about her factories from it, she places them on the desk and taps the bottom of the drawer, which slides back to reveal a hidden compartment. Kadrina removes a box and places it on the desk. Taking a key from a cord around her neck, she turns it in the lock and opens the lid, revealing yet more documents, on top of which lie another key. She takes this key and pockets it, closing and locking the box. She does not bother to replace it in the drawer, as more likely than not she will be leaving the office very soon.
Kadrina's guards, clad in distinctive red cloaks, arm themselves and prepare to defend the complex containing Kadrina's residence, factories and office.
Voidarix blinks, trying to figure out how the number of Makuta below somehow tripled in size. Either he can't or he simply stops caring, he shrugs, gets to his feet, and dives down to meet them with tattered wings outstretched before them.
He lands in a crouch, leathery wings almost draping themselves over him as he stood up, eyeing each of the six Makuta with a gleeful smile.

Zenila and Astrona keep themselves off to the side, having a rapid conversation about Zakaz for some reason.
Crystalia smirks back at Voidarix, waving a hand mockingly at him, her coy, benign smile hiding the sneer. "Voidarix, dear, have you met Toxica?" She asks, waving a hand lazily at the serpentine Makuta, who was looking at Xia's structures with thinly veiled interest.
