There are more explosions, and the sinkhole grows, filling with rubble from the collapsing building. Suddenly a silver figure flies out of the hole. It has several large gashes in it, which disappear quickly. It turns towards the rest of the building and unleashes a devastating beam of energy the disintegrates massive portions of the building. It simply watches as the building collapses in on it self, falling deep into the laboratories beneath and crushing all who remain inside. The silver figure then turns and walks away casually.
Kael decides to follow the powerful creature, carefully keeping hidden in the shadows.
It seems to have no destination in mind, aimlessly wandering. Occasionally a beam of energy would blast out of the being and disintegrate something nearby. It's shape seems to be rather fluid too, randomly changing the length and number of limbs and heads.

The plantlife Toa decides that he can't take down the creature on his own, so he waits for reinforcements. In the meantime, he continues to follow the shapeshifter.

The being tries to shake it off, but the metal does not move. The arm shapeshifts a hole and a beam of disintegration energies vaporize the metal. The being takes another step and a larger chuck of metal slams into the back of its head. In a slightly unnerving display the being's body reverses, the front becoming the back as it blasts this chunk of metal to dust. It looks around, angrily, ready to blast anything that moves.

Loose metal continues to fly at the being, sticking to it on contact. Suddenly Kaels sword is pulled towards the being. If he is not expecting this then the sword is probably ripped out of his hand/out of its sheath.

Kael gasps. Realizing that backup isn't coming anytime soon, he runs further into the alley he's standing in, looking for metal.
