Jake moves through the Metru, posting just a few advertisements in frequently visited places throughout the Metru. Anyone that sees these remember the Mysterious Tower as if it was always there, due to GB hax and the power of suggestion. After placing three or four, he moves on to another metru.

Plenty matoran notice these advertisements before the Vahki tear most of them down and begin searching for the matoran responsible.
Darren enters the Metru and spots the strange creature. He follows it, thinking it might be a rahi who escaped the Onu-Metru archives.
(The beast turns and looks at the matoran)

Drake stabbed the creature and shoved it off of him, the blades leeching massive amounts of energy from the makuta in the brief moments it was in contact.
