Lyndis: "Ah, looks like I'll have to go back to meet with that brother of mine in person. It was nice meeting you, kings Sobek and Lobo."
Lyndis returns to the Lion outpost and begins preparing to move back to Lion City.
OOC: I just realized I made a continuity mistake here concerning the timing of Lyn’s meeting with Lycan, so I’ll say that she got delayed for some reason. Just felt like I should mention that.

IC: After wrapping up the paperwork that had delayed her, Lyn returns to Lion City.
"Thank you. Anyway, leaving that aside, there are many things that must be discussed. Firstly, I would like to thank the Republic of the Claw for their help. Secondly, I would like to ask if you have discovered anything about where my husband was taken."
General: "We think he's been taken to the formerly unclaimed land now known as Southernfell, just east of here. However, the Sabertoothes might've taken him all the way to Black Fang Mountain or Saber Mountain."
OOC: So, this was from an extremely long time ago, but Shamrock would you ever want to revisit this? We could say that Crogar had been taken to Saber Mountain since he was the king, and Carina either remained in hiding all this time, or was among the crocodiles who'd left the swamp with the Forgotten.
Lyndis: "Greetings. You're the Crocs' new king, I presume? I am Lion Elder Lyndis, the... General of the occupying Lion forces, although I'd retired from that position. Anyhow, this may anger you, but just hear me out: the Croc Swamp is now owned by the Lion and Wolf tribes, split evenly between us. The northern half of the Croc Swamp is now the Lions' territory, while the southern half belongs to the Wolves. However, I'm sure we can work this out."
OOC: I hadn't seen your post on the Wolf HQ, so I guess you control the Wolf Ambassador here.
New post:
OOC: Whoops, I made a mistake here. The Lions had claimed the southern half of the swamp, since the Wolves (led by egorsmirnov at the time) had claimed the northern half. That happened a long time ago, and I got the territories mixed up. Since it's been stated that the Wolves returned to the Crocs the southern half of the region, we're gonna have to go with that and say that the Wolves and Lions had claimed the southern and northern halves, respectively, rather than the other way around like it was initially. And yes, this is important, since the Lion forces being in the northern half means that they're now surrounded on both sides by enemies (Crocs in the direct south, Wolf territory to the direct north).
IC: Now, after the speeches of Lycor and Galvanor, the former king has sent reinforcements to the northern stronghold, knowing that Primordium will of course move to retake the part of the Croc Swamp belonging to their enemies. Lyn, who has returned here to negotiate with Sobek, arrives in the northern Croc Swamp at the same time that the Croc King approaches from the south. Both stand in front of their respective armies, and halt about twenty feet away from each other, on either side of the north-south border, staring face-to-face.
Lyn: "King Sobek. It saddens me that we are now on opposite sides, since, from what brief interaction you and I had before, you seemed very polite, negotiable, and agreeable."
Sobek: "Oh, I'm agreeable all right, as long as you agree to have all your lions leave my swamp. Then we'll be in agreement."
Lyn: "I'm afraid I can't do that. By orders of my son, King Lycor, we are to keep this land or make some sort of compromise."
Sobek: "A shame, because after said interaction, I'd thought that you would be understanding enough to concede the swamp to me, hence why I came in person. But now I see that you have no power to do so, and are just the puppet of a king. A word of advice: break free and claim power for yourself, like I did. If you survive this battle, that is."
Sobek raises his hand to signal for a charge.
Lyn: "Wait! Must it always be this way? The First Chima Civil War, the Chima Alliance--Crawler Empire War, and now... Are the Lions and Crocs destined to be on opposite sides?"
Sobek: "I don't care about those wars, or this one! I was planning to retake this part of my home even before I allied with that Galvanor! You're just in the wrong place at the wrong time!"
Sobek gives the signal, and the Crocs charge at the Lions.

*Faint music can be heard, eerie in tone. Walking in between the two lines of charging forces and later standing foolishly in the middle ground is an unidentifiable creature hunched over and covered in rags. He skillfully plays his instrument, the almost hypnotic music causing the first few soldiers of each group to stumble and fall over. One Croc tries to silence the figure by throwing his spear in the figure's direction, but the figure astonishes the crowd by jumping in the air and catching the spear. The figure later throws it in the direction of a Lion Vehicle, damaging the right wheel and causing it to skid wildly into a tree.*
*The figure twirls once before pointing towards Sobek.*

Whit: Care to join em?
Sobek and Lyn halt their forces in surprise.
Sobek: "Who are you, and what are you doing in my swamp?!"

OOC: Oh, excellent suggestion...that gives me an idea.
Quick question: Did we have some version of the Fire Trials in the RP? And did the Crocs pass them?

OOC: Yeah, I think all of the species outside of the Ice Tribes have passed the Fire Trials by now, except for maybe the rhinos.

Ah, tis no fun anymore if ye knew "young" un. But this good man here...
*He points to Sobek, then to Lyn.*
And you fine "young" rip, why your fighting tis disturbing the peace. I'd be an old man, an old man who needs his sleep. So...
*He quickly knocks a Lion warrior off his Speedorz and hops on. Whizzing through the crowd he randomly knocks unconscious warriors on both sides, laughing all the way.*
