This isn't a question, but this seems like the best place to report it. Whenever I reply to a post, afterwards I find myself on the next page of a topic. So say I'm replying to a post half-way down Page 4 on a topic, once I click create post, I end up at the top of page 5, and have to go back to page 4 and find the post I replied to and go down from there.
That is happening to me too. It would be helpful if we could fix this:).

That is an odd glitch I can't say I've personally experienced, but I think I have the answer.
When you go to a page of a topic, no matter how many posts you actually read, it says that you've read the whole page. After submitting a post in that topic, the site will try to be "helpful" and take you to the newest unread page -- the next page, in your case.
Yeah, that's probably what's happening. Any idea how we could fix this? It would also be great if when you clicked on a topic that had new posts it would bring you to the newest page, not the first. As of now I have to find where I left off:P.

Thanks:). BTW, any idea if saurianspacer, winnjetbrick, or m4tt891 know about this place? They were my building buddies and I would LOVE to continue our building contests:). I will try and slip something through to them, hopefully I am able to.
I don't believe they do. You should make an effort!

There's probably a user-side method I'm not aware of.

I will try, I would hate to lose contact with them. Only good thing is that they are builders, so they will be on the galleries still:).

We will uphold very similar standards to the LMBs here. That means no references to video games rated M or above (T games are probably generally okay to reference). We will not allow sharing of personal info. Links to other sites will be restricted, but not entirely as of yet. This will be evaluated on as needed. No swearing will be tolerated; swearing will result in disciplinary action.
For more information, please see the "Eternal Rules and Guidelines".
Okay, that's fine, I don't play any M games anyways, although I do watch R movies. What about links to LEGO.com?
I see no reason a link to lego.com should ever be restricted.

By the looks of it, ranks seem to be solely based on posts. So I have a suggestion: What if we brought back the old ranks? In my opinion they were MUCH cooler than the newer ranks, made more sense, and we knew the requirements exactly. Anybody else have thoughts on this?

I suggested this to Astro but he said that most users these days are more familiar with the new ranks. However, maybe you could suggest an alternate theme with the Old MBs style emotes, header, and ranks?

So pretty much each rank would have a counterpart? Still though, we don't even know the exact requirements for the new ranks, but we DO for SURE for the old ranks. I mean, it could work, but it wouldn't at the same time. If anything we would have to change the requirements to the old LMB rank ones but match them with current ranks. For example, Journeyman/Pharaoh would be 48 posts, not however many Pharaoh is now. Still, I would even that better. I mean, we really have no requirements to go off for new ranks past like Rank 15. And like I said before, the new ranks don't even make sense. What sounds like a more elite user: Pilot or Legend? Bandit or Maniac?

Anybody think we should have LEGO News forum? I was planning on bringing back the LVNS, but never got to it before the LMBs were announced to close:(. If not, maybe it could be a subforum of the LEGO General forum is you make that? That might be better as I don't know how popular a news forum would be and if it should be a main forum.

That's the problem with old MBs emotes, though: "Legend" stops being legendary when lots of people have it. Over 20 users on the LMBs currently qualify for Legend. It doesn't carry the same weight that it did. That said, I'll relay your sentiment to Astrokid.

Relaying that now.

Yes, but how many users will reach 24,000 posts on here? It would take a year or two for most users. Plus it would be easy to change or add new ranks. For example, we could add a rank for 24,000 like "Rockstar"(Just an idea because Rocko was the first to get Rank X, this was suggested back in the day) and make Legend the 48,000 rank.
