Keplers, always the Ninja, began bouncing from branch to branch, moving up the tree. TannerJ, a Jester, with the nimble abilties of a real one, flipped and backflipped all the way up.
For the Samurais, the Knights, and the Highland Battler this proved harder. JesusChristFollower began climbing up the tree, only to fall off and land on JayZX, who was extremely annoyed. However, soon, they both were on their way, climbing towards the top, leaving Indy, Skul, and Starwarsgirl at the bottom.
"Lets go." said Skul, and Indy began climbing up the tree, slowly.
"Ill go now." said Skul, and he began climbing up. He realized that Starwarsgirl was still at the bottom.
"You coming?" he asked, bemused.
"I-I think I'll wait-" said Starwarsgirl.
"What is it?" asked Skul.
"Im...afraid of...heights..." she said, staring up the tree.
Skul sighed, and yelled back.
"You have to come now." he said, glancing up, seeing the others at the top. They were all waiting.
Starwarsgirl sighed, and began climbing slowly. Skul moved on ahead, and soon there were standing, all around eachother on several branches.
"Well?" said Keplers.
"Ready." mumbled a few of the others.
"Right. Now we jump." said Keplers.
"WHAT?!?!?" screeched Starwarsgirl.
"Yeah...I think its best...." said Keplers.
"BEST?" screeched Starwarsgirl, in a tone of disbelief.
"Yeah. We all jump, and forum jump. Easier than doing it all tangler here." said Keplers.
The others nodded, except Starwarsgirl, who stood frozen.
"Anyway. Bye." said Keplers, jumping off and disapearing in a burst of white light halfway down.
TannerJ, Indy, Jay, JCF all followed. Starwarsgirl, was still staring down, terrified. She recieved a shove from behind, and she fell. Screaming, she fell. She was getting closer to the ground. She closed her eyes, and focuesed on the help and suggestions forum.
They were all in a topic in the help and suggestions forum. All was silent. There was the sound of movement outside, but they didn't dare look out the window.
There was a loud thump, and everyone turned to see Skul reeling back, holding his head. Starwarsgirl was staring at him in rage.
"You pushed me?" she screamed.
"Only....way....you'd...go..." said Skul.
Starwarsgirl looked like she was about to punch him again, then thought better of it.
"Don't do it again."
"I doubt we'll make it out alive." said Keplers, now looking out the window. The others all looked out, and froze. They could see a single topic standing in the distance, uninfected. Talk to the mods. There was a fine layer of spam on all the other buildings.
"Spam Bomb." said Keplers.
'Yeah. Will the roofs be affected?" asked Indy.
"Why? Are you obsessed with roofs?" asked TannerJ.
"No, we can walk along the roofs if they aren't." said Indy.
They all looked up. There was a small hole in the roof that led to the attic. Tanner ran over to the wall, bounces off, grabbed the hole, and swung through.
"Show off." said JCF, who climbed up on a chair.
The others waited a minute, silently.
"Those guys are lucky." said Skul.
"Why?" said Kep.
"Im bored." said Skul.
Indy sighed, and laughed slightly.
They waited a few more minutes, Skul getting more and more impatient.
"Right, im going up." said Skul.
Skul ran over, jumped of the chair, put his hands into the roof, and jumped up.

he attic was dark.
Skul groped through the darkness, looking around.
"Tanner? JCF?" he asked quietly. There was a sound of breathing, but shallow and raspy in the darkness. Skul groped around more, and finally, he reached something solid. It was a trunk, from how it felt. Feeling around, he opened it. It exploded open, and the sound of screeching and little animals crawling everywhere filled his head. They climbed all over him, and disapeared into the darkness, the sound of scuttling echoing everywhere.
"I hate topics with attics." he muttered.
The breathing was getting more intent now, and he moved towards it. He was crawling around, fearing to stand up. Something grapped his face, wrapping around him. He yelled, and tore it off. It was a spamder web. Not infectious, but it stung.
He kept crawling towards the breathing.
"Are you hurt?" he asked.
There was the sound of smashing bricks, and more silence.
"Uh-TannerJ....JCF, are you there?"
Something rolled out of the darkness at him. He flipped back, and it nudged his leg. He felt it. It felt strangely round, and had something on top, like a-
He yelped and ran back, as something roared, and there was the sound of thumping like something moving towards him.
The thing hit him and they crashed through the ground, into another room.
It was strangely empty, and it hard a dull feeling. Pictures of long gone users were scattered across the walls. He saw the words "Have you seen these people recently?" on the walls.
But then he hit the ground and rolled, and looked up. JCF, spam infected, was staring at him. She roared, and clawed him. He fell away, and felt his vision darkening as people ran in, and there was the sound of blasting. He focused on his likes the count, the little number inside his head...he had to...his thoughts were getting weaker...and weaker....and...
He sat up, and saw Starwarsgirl blasting the infected JCF out the window, falling into the street, still roaring.
"Oh...lord...thank you!" he said, turning to Starwarsgirl as the others ran in.
"Wheres JCF? TannerJ?" asked Jay.
Skul motioned out the window, and the others ran over, and saw JCF roaring in the street.
"I see her." said Keplers.
"Wheres TannerJ?"
'She...smashed him..." said Skul.
"Not infected?" said Keplers.
"No. Just...smashed..." said Skul.
"Lucky old boy." said Keplers, who then jumped into the attic, which now seemed full of light. The others followed him up, using chairs and assorted objects, through the hole in the roof.
The room was lighter, but still dark. Keplers sliced a hole in the roof.
"It doesn't look infected." said Skul.
"Theres one way to check." said Keplers. jumping out onto the roof. He stood, frozen, and then started falling back. The users below gasped, but he froze, and began laughing.
"Gotcha." he said.
Starwarsgirl jumped out and punched him, and he fell back, and rolled to the edge of the roof, then jumped back up, still grinning.
They were walking silently over the roofs. The infected were filling the streets, all going towards Talk to the Mods. And Keplers decided they should follow them.
"We go where they go." said Keplers happily, jumping from rooftop to rooftop.
"I think its usually the opposite." said JayZX, running behind him.
They made it to the center of the forum. The entire place was a heaving mass of roaring, growling, chopping, and wailing infected, smashing at the walls of Talk to the Mods. The topic was huge, and in the center of the forum. A large metal wall, which the infected were smashing at, surrounded it. The edge of the wall was beneath them a few meters away.
"Whoa." said Skul, staring at the infected.
"Is...this...all of them...?" ased Starwarsgirl.
"Naw. This is only a couple thousand. The rest of their army is in the Help and Suggestions forum."
"Why is Talk to the Mods here?" asked Indy.
The others laughed, except Keplers,
"The mods moved it, duh. Thats why MKM is captured in the Help and Suggestions forum. Last thing she did was move this topic. Get it away. Get it to safety..." said Keplers.
"We should get in." said Skul.
"Yah...." said Keplers. staring down.
"Should we jump??"
"NO!" squealed Starwarsgirl. The others looked at her, and she froze.
"I-I-mean, I think that wouldn\t be good...if...we...uh....miss." said Starwarsgirl, looking down at the infected.
"Right." said Indy, who jumped off, fell, and landed directly on the wall, with the infected a meter below him. He laughed, and an arrow flew up. He dodged, and fell into the topic.
Unforuntunetly, the infected had the intelligence to look where he ahd come from, and slowly, the entire mass saw Skul, Starwarsgirl, JayZX, and Keplers standing on the roof. Keplers drew his katana.
"Right, you guys jump." said Keplers.
Skul nodded, ran, jump, and landed on the edge again, teetering back, but he stepped forward again. Arrows were flying up at him, and at the others. JayZX jumped, and knocked Skul and herself into the topic, which the arrows seemed to not be able to breach.
"Come on!" yelled JayZX and Indy to Starwarsgirl, who was standing behind Keplers.
Starwarsgirl nodded, and jumped. She landed on the edge, and fell off. Indy caught her, and put her down, then turned to Keplers.
"Come on!" he yelled.
Keplers was now slashing wildly at the arrows flying at him, cutting them down with his Katana. He nodded, and put his Katana away, dodging by a mixture of skill and luck. He ran over, jumped.
He fell towards them, and suddenly an arrow slammed into him, and he was propelled into the crowd of the infected, yelling.
Starwarsgirl sobbed, and Skul just kept staring up to where they'd last seen him.
Four users ran out from the Talk to the Mods, wearing anti spam suits with helmets and holding blasters. Starwarsgirl, JayZX, and Skul still didn't move.
"Its me. Indy. IndyAJD. And Starwarsgirl, JayZX, and Skul." said Indy, facing them,
"WHY IS IT ALWAYS HIM WHO MAKES IT?" yelled a user frustratedly.
"I suppose thats Alemas." said Indy. Alemas pulled the mask off, and trampled back inside without another word. The user in the lead shook his head, and pulled the helmet off.
"I assume your the menace that's been sweeping the boards?" said Micb.
"What?" asked Skul, now stepping forward.
"Theres been a group of users going everywhere on the MBs. The numbers keep going up or down, from forum to forum. Finally, it gets down to seven. You make it here. Wheres the other three?" said Micb.
"Keplers was infected just before we got in, and JCF was infected, and smashed TannerJ." said Indy.
"Well, its good to see you." said the other user pulling off her helmet. Starwarsgirl yelled and over and hugged Superseaturtle.
"Well....this is interesting." said Skul, breaking the awkward silence. The last user, Dinosaur, pulled off his helemt and ran over to see Skul.
"Your here! There are only 20 users left!" said Dinosaur, almost wailing.
"Wait-20? Only 20?" asked JayZX, broken from her trance.
"Yeah. The topics got everyone in it." said Micb.
"Really?"
"Well, The Help and Suggestions forum was merged with this forum, and the remains were...empty...so that became the fortress of spam. And Talk to the Mods is our fortress. We have rec rooms, beds, armories, etc. Everything we need. There used to be more of us....but....." Micb ended quietly.
"Well, lets take a look around." said Indy, walking in, and the others followed, leaving the wails of the infected behind them.
They were first taken to the lab, where Cedric_Of_Chessington and Skeletonpirate were working on a new Ban Gun.
"Does it work?" asked Indy.
"No. We tried it on Nenen. Hes been in the medical wing for three wings. His headpiece ended up on his chest and his legs as his head." said Cedric, sadly.
They were then taken to the medical bay to see Nenen, where AwesomePythor looking up tiredly, sitting on chair in the middle of a room.
"No, I can't serve you, no..." he said, and then slumped forward. Skul caught him, and managed to get him back on a chair.
"Hes tired. We've had people coming in and out all week...' said Superseaturtle. Dinosaur and Micb had returned to the control deck. Apparently Superseaturtle worked here too.
"AwesomePythor, its visitors, get up!" said Superseaturtle, obviously trying to wake him up. He opened his eyes drearily.
"No, I don't have the cure for spam, but I do have a needle." he said, and slumped back.
"Right." said IndyAJD awkwardly.
They decided to skip the other rooms, and head straight up to the control room, on the top floor. Micb and Dinosaur were outside, talking. When they saw them, they went in.
The control room was quite plain. Five desks, all facing a large screen with one larger desk facing down at them, the screen behind it. There were two empty desks, and Micb and Dinosaur took their seats, scanning forums.
"Dwarfy, all of the infected are either in this forum or in the Help and Suggestions." said Stonewall, sitting at a desk.
"Oh, thats good.' said Dwarfy, sitting at the large desk. Then he saw the new arrivals.
"SKUL! STARWARSGIRL! INDY! JAY!" he said, jumping down the desk and running over. The other five faces turned to see them as well.
"I knew it'd be you Skul! And Starwarsgirl! Indy! And Jay!" he said.
"Knew it?"
"The infected have been moving strangely, like they were following someone. It was you!" he exclaimed.
"That'd be us." said Indy.
"Yup.' said Skul.
"Well, thats good, because-" there was a crash, and a siren. The users at their desks stared up at the large screen, transfixed. It had many shots, and they were scanning each.
One shot showed a large square, full of black buildings, and a mass of something glowing black. The infected. And at the center, there was a circular wall, with a large dot in the center, like an eye. It was clear of the black. Except one wall, where the black was swarming in.
Another showed the sky, with infected running over it. A camera in the wall.
One showed the infected swarming in, staring up the camera, all of them now in filling up the remaining space, with the others outside. On Dinosaurs flashing screen it said "Shield Down.".
And one shot, from a ground level camera, looked out into the malicious face of the infected Keplers. his eyes glowing black through the hood, and holding his katana.
And like fingernails on a blackboard, he spoke.
"We are coming."
Then he stabbed his sword into the camera, and the screen went black, the sounds of arrows raining on the towrr around them.
JYSK, the chapter with Keplers smashing I think it was, actually ended differently with Kepler being blasted, and it had an overly descriptive idea of him falling, and the entire mass of the infected going towards him and there being screaming and slashing noises. But the mods rejected it. XD
Spam Arrows began piercing the walls after a few minutes. They had locked themselves inside the topic, but the spam was still seeping in.
"Get everyone up here. Now." said Dwarfy, looking around.
"We'll go guard the exits." said Stonewall, and he ran out with SuperDKong. Their footsteps were lost in the echoes and clangs of spam arrows piercing into the walls, but not going through.
"We need to go up." said Dwarfy.
Dinosaur shook his head.
"That equipment is disfunctional, if it goes wrong-"
"Do you think it could be any worse than this?" said Dwarfy, as AwesomePythor and Superseaturtle ran up.
"Wheres Nenen?"
"They broke through the lower walls. They're in." said AwesomePythor, and then suddenly all realized the arrows had stopped.
It was an eerie silence, Dinosaur, Micb, Dwarfy, AwesomePythor, SuperSeaTurtle, Skul, Jay, Indy, and Starwarsgirl all facing eachother, listening to the silence. Then they heard footsteps. Thundering footsteps.
The doors at the end of the hall crashed open with a bang and Alemas, Skeletonpirate, and Cedric charged in.
"Stonewall and DK are infected." said Cedric, and the sound of more running feet came up the stairs. But not just a few. There were too many.
"They're coming." said Cedric, and Skeletonpirate pulled a blaster off his back. It was large, and futuristic, and looked unstable but powerful.
Dwarfy stood, facing him, while Skeletonpirates eyes focused forward, through his head and to the end of the hall.
"I know what you have to do sir. Just go. Now." he said.
Dwarfy nodded silently, and then motioned for the others to leave. Skul stood, while the others ran up, looking at the end of the hall.
"Come on. Please." said Skul.
"No." said Skeletonpirate, and the doors at the end of the hall burst open, and Skeletonpirate opened fire. Skul couldn't see anything but zaps of light, explososions, and dust and rubble in the hall, and screaming, then silence. He closed the door, and ran up the stairs, after the others.
"Hes gone." said Skul.
"And so is most of the lower floor." said Dwarfy, looking down at a hole in the ground. Several floors seemed to have disapeared, and so did the infected.
"The others must be gone, then." said Skul.
J-d-j and Madkat came running out of another door.
"They're coming through this way. The others are all gone. They've swarmed the tower and all the lower floors." said j-d-j.
They all looked at the final flight of stairs, winding and tall, to the top of the Talk to the Mods tower.
"Lets go."
They began running, but there was a rumbling, and the floor began collapsing in as the infected below pounded at it.. They all made it on, but AwesomePythor and Superseaturtle were behind, running. They reached out for them, and the floor collapsed, and they fell into the floor below, with the infected rushing by, and were gone.
A group of the infected jumped up, and landed on the steps, a few floors below them. They were reaching the top, and the infected just looked. There were five of them, staring up silently.
"Run." said Dwarfy, looking terrified, and pulling out double spam blasters, blocing the stairs below.
"Who are they?" asked Starwarsgirl.
"Dwarfy!" yelled Indy, "COme now."
"I can't. These were the first five users to be infected. They were the ones who captured MKM, and they are the strojngest and most destructive. If I can destroy at least one..." said Dwarfy, looking down at them, and they behan running.
They ran like none of the others had ever seen before. They were a flight below them before SKul could even register what was happening. The others, nearer the top, disapeared into the room.
And the infected five leaped and Dwarfy disapeared underneath them.
Dwarfy and Cedric were now backing towards the elevator, while the remaining three slashed around them. Cedric rolled, underneath them, and came up behind one, and stabbed at it. It too disapeared.
But this time, they finally noticed it. Every time they smashed one, the other two became larger. They both now were taller than Dwarfy and Cedric by at least a foot, and were larger, as well.
"Get in!" yelled Dwarfy, at Dinosaur and Ihaveawii, who ahd come out to help. Then he sighed, spun, and hit the buttom for the elevator to go up, and another came up from beneath. Ihaveawii dived into the next elevator, but an infected swung, anjd Dwarfy and Dinosaur ducked, and its fist smashed into the elevator, reducing it to dust, and Ihaveawii was nowhere to be seen.
Another lift came up from beneath, and opened. Dwarfy and Dinosaur jumped in, and before the infected could smash the elevator, they were rising to the top.
Cedric had been left behind. Forgotten about. He was lying on the ground, and his likes and life slowly drained away. The two infected stood over him, looking down at him.
One kneeled down, and grabbed him. Cedric instantly jumped up, but felt different, more powerful, and...
He was now as strong as the original five. He was one of them now. But they didn't know. They didn't control his thoughts. He thought only of stopping spam, yet he was one with it.
So as he stood up to follow the others climbing up the elevator shaft, he was already plotting their downfall.
