It has just been confirmed that Jillian Micheals, the woman who has voiced Lloyd Garmadon since season 1 of the show, will no longer be voicing the iconic green ninja. Apparently, LEGO has decided to replace her due to the fact that Lloyd will "soon become a man".
How do you all feel about this? I'm personally very disappointed. No matter who replaces Jillian, I will never truly consider them to be Lloyd.
To be honest, I'm kind of glad, because this means Lloyd will sound more grown-up and the ninja are growing into sensei. [a]
However, that being said, it doesn't really make much sense, considering Lloyd became an "adult" (18) back in season 2.
Seriously? Even if it was true, it would be a welcome change. He can't be voiced by a woman forever. Lloyd would be much better if he actually grew up a little. As far as I'm concerned, all that potion did was make him taller. Other than that, he was no different than when he was a kid. I don't see what all the fuss is about. He should have been voiced by a guy the whole time if he was going to grow up anyway.

True, except that voice actresses tend to do only young boys. Ben 10 was voiced by Tara Strong until he turned fifteen, when she was replaced by a guy. Lloyd needs a serious overhaul if he's ever going to be anything more than a tall kid.
