Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Arms, Lego City Undercover, Splatoon 2, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Lego Marvel Superheroes 2, Monopoly, Super Bomberman R, Lego Ninjago Movie Videogame... These are some of them but there is more. I would get the Lego Ones and other Nintendo favorites to start off with.
thanks so much! i'll probably get super mario odyssey and mario kart, maybe arms and splatoon as well. i never played the first splatoon game, though. i'm very excited for the upcoming pokémon game on switch.
There is going to be a Pokemon game on switch??? It will sell like hotcakes I believe.

yes! it'll definitely sell, though i don't have hopes for it to be the next botw. it hasn't been in development all that long, and it comes out this year so probably not open world.

I thought all the other Pokemon games (On DS, Gameboy, 3DS) were open world?

i've never actually played one, but i believe they're not exactly open world. you can walk around a village, but you can't just leave - you have to go down a route. think of breath of wild, on the other hand, where you can explore anywhere you want with basically no restriction. (again, i've never played a pokémon game. i probably made a very laughable error somewhere in this post )
