Considering the fact that a birthday is the single most important peice of info for locating someone IRL, I have opted not to include my real birthday on my account
Ironically enough, the Mods allow you to share that on the MBs.

Reminds me of the days when they used to display all the users with birthday on the LMBs:P. I didn't know that. TBH though, I would love if people knew who I was IRL:P. I found Hollis and Nealybealy on a social media site, might send them friend requests soon;). Not to mention I already have Daler's email too.
I feel like this can still be a board under General Discussion.
The only reason why the LMBs had their own community forums is because they had no real "general" forum. The General Discussion forums are perfect for just chillin' and hanging out.
It should at least be called community chat so as to not get confused with LEGO General.

OMG, Goose Rocks:O! I used to get a house there EVERY YEAR! Now we usually just go for 2 days and rent a hotel for the night in between. That was like my childhood though, hanging out with my family at that house and at the beach:D! It's not even that big a beach, I am surprised you have been there! I have literally walked every part of that beach. My favorite place is the little river area all the way to one of the sides. Then there's the island on the other side that I always enjoyed exploring and crabbing at as a kid:).
