The man was right about the innkeeper, she had just been employed a week or so ago. The young lady looks at him, her dark eyes looked clear and intelligent, her black hair was a mess of tangles, but clean looking. She looked to be some sort of island descendant judging by the tan-ish skin and general look about her. Then she turns away again as the tavern doors bang open again. Several people all scoot through together, a couple seats themselves down to wait, while the other three that came in move to the counter. *Comes out form the back and sighs at the sight of all the people* "Miss the only rooms we have left are small, one-roomed affairs, but it's warm and dry if you want one?" The young girl nodded. "How much it it mam, just for one night?" *Names a good rate* Nodding again she reached into a pocket of her skirt and produced a small sack, she poured out a few coins sorted them handed some over and stows the last two she had away again. "Thank you mam." *Rings her up* "It's my job Miss. I'll show you to your room as soon as I'm done with these folks." The girl moved away form the counter and sat down at a table. One of the three men that had came in stepped up to the counter. "Howdy Milly, how about some root-beers for us tied workers." He leaned on the counter and winked. *Turns and starts pouring root-beer* "As long as you got money to pay this time Clyde, then Jon won't throw you out on your can again." "Aye, he overreacted." He said huffing. *Sets the root-beer down and fixes them with a stern look* "You had a tab that was run up to high heaven and back Clyde." The man looked sheepish. "Aw but I paid it off Mill" He said reaching to take her hand. *Recoils* "Don't call me that, and get out of the way so I can help that couple Clyde" *She hissed to him* He and his friends took there root-beer and went to a table. *Smooths out herself again and starts helping the couple, and gets them a room. Shows the girl and couple to there rooms and then returns.* "Would you be wanting to know where your room is now, or latter sir?" *She asked politely*

"It does. But it's part of my job to make sure all tenants get to the right place and are comfortable." *She sounds like she's reciting instructions then shrugs* "If you wanna find it yourself that's ok with me." Just then a rather large man comes crashing out of the back. "Eh, Miss. Gresham. Did you say this fellow was staying extended?" He asked in a deep but firm voice. "Yes, John. He's planing on staying a while." She responded looking up at the man. "Extended says get a discount of 15%." He smiled at the man as he pulled some of the cash out of the till and slid it over. "She just started work here a few days ago. Sorry for the confusion. It's been busy as a hornets nest in here for nigh on 2 weeks." *Millly blushed with embarrassment at the mistake but bussed herself with pouring some more drinks for Clyde and his gang.*

He nodded. "I'd say that helps. But it's also this fowl weather that's blowing in. Every one's trying to find a decent place to stay till the stormy weather picks up." He shrugs. "But I'm sure we'll hold up. Now if you'll excuse me, there are papers I need to tend to." He gave a little wave and clomped off to the back.
