{JAMMERS! -GOOD- ONLY!} Ooh, jammers. Haven't gotten to play with these here yet. Alright, so, here're my thoughts on strategy. I'm sure they'll expect us to rush to capture as many regions as possible (and rightly so), but I'm guessing that they be looking for much more than that. That said, I propose that we not only capture regions, but that we also start besieging as many sub-HQs as we can as soon as possible. At the very least, we need to contest their most-desired regions, and set up defensive positions in key locations. My first move is to be to rush the Forodwaith, Celduin, and ultimately Gundabad. I'll be sending a steady stream of troops (as soon as they're generated) straight from the Iron Hills to get to the Forodwaith before Tuvok/Gundabad, while a few troops from Erebor secure Celduin. All generated troops (besides minimal defending forces) will be moving to secure those two regions until things are under control, then all additional forces will march on Gundabad. My goal is to restore Gundabad to the Dwarves before Tuvok has time to fortify it too heavily. As for other HQs, I have a few suggestions. First, someone, probably Rivendell, needs to contest the High Pass. MM's made it clear that Goblin-town is going to be swarming the High Pass right off the bat. The more we make him fight for the region, the more troops it will cost him, and the more time. If the Beornings could reinforce them, it's possible that the High Pass could actually be secured, which would greatly frustrate MM's plans. He'll be spending all of his resources on it, and I don't expect him to rest until he has it within his grasp (which would make it a drain for our troops too, but less so than for him). Some troops should also be sent to Hollin so as to delay Moria and buy time for Bree to expand. Bree, on the other hand, should make all haste for Tharbad and Angmar to intercept advancing Wildmen and Orcs. If they do that, and I can get the Forodwaith, than that leaves Evil cut off from most of Eriador, which Bree can take control with just a few troops without too much worry. If all goes well, Bree should become a powerhouse in just a few days, with perhaps as many as fourteen regions. Mirkwood is obviously going to need to be holding back Dol Guldur. Actually, I think that that's what they should spend most of their resources on. If Mirkwood can pin down Dol Guldur, that will give the rest of the Northeast some breathing room to focus on border control with Rhun, Gundabad, Isengard, and Moria/Goblin-town. On the whole, they should advance southwards, primarily Mirkwood and the regions between it and the Misty Mountains. Lothlorien, on the other hand, should immediately blockade the Dimrill Dale with all possible troops in order to hold back the tides of Moria for a time. Next, Dale should move south, staying on the east side of Mirkwood. They'll be directly facing Rhun, and perhaps Mordor soon after. The Beornings, on the other hand, should be much different. If a few of them could initiate the Siege of Gundabad, that would make my job with the Forodwaith a little bit easier, and I'd be able to take over the siege much sooner. Besides that, they should assist our nearby allies, reinforcing the High Pass, and whatever Mirkwood ends up having to face. If things go well, they can move south and reinforce Lorien at the Dimrill Dale. And lastly (sorry Gondor, you're on your own ), Rohan's first priority should be to fortify the West Emnet. I don't see much hope in us capturing the Gap of Rohan early on (or at least not hold it). If they can hold the West Emnet, the Isengard will be kept to the west side of the Misty Mountains, further contained by Bree at Tharbad along with Rivendell at Hollin. As soon as the West Emnet is deemed secure enough, Fangorn can move north and assist with the Dimrill Dale (and perhaps Dol Guldur), while Edoras should move east to secure as much land as possible and also check on Mordor. They'll probably need to assist with the Ithilien area, too.
How does this sound to everyone? If all goes well, we'll keep Moria and Isengard from expanding any significant amount, we'll cripple Dol Guldur by frustrating its plans and capturing Gundabad, while keeping check on Rhun and Mordor. If things go fast enough, we might even be able to secure the North so that further troops could move southwards. It'll require a lot of cooperation and communication though (and each of us keeping an eye on each other's backs), as we'll have to act fast in order to stay one step ahead of Evil as it reacts to our movements.
{JAMMERS! -GOOD- ONLY!!!!!} Sound great! The men of Dale and The Adunin will follow the comands of the Lord KitKat of Erebor.
So do you want Dale to focus on Rhun? Since I don't think, unless they get a good leader for rhun, that it will be much of a threat. At least for a little bit. And Dale should be able to withstand the hordes of easterlings. While pressuring Dol Guldor or maybe somewhere else.
{JAMMERS! -GOOD- ONLY!} Please, just call me King Under the Mountain.
At least to start. As I said, we'll have to act fast and react faster. I really don't know how Evil is going to respond to our attacks, and so there's a good chance that you'll be reassigned to deal with other enemies and to help out wherever things aren't going well. Evil could just meet us head-on, reinforcing regions attacked and invading any defensive positions we set up, or they could very well try to sidestep those and move to attack our actual HQs. So start your first moves out heading south, but be ready to move to just about anywhere else in the Northeast (though probably the southwest portion) at a moment's notice. But even if nothing to crazy happens, Rhun won't be your only opponent for long. Mordor is going to try to expand northwards, so you'll have to face that too.
{JAMMERS! -Good- ONLY!} I will seize the fiefs of Gondor as soon as possible. That will give me a starting force of 25000+ Gondorian MWE and 10000 MWE from Dol Amroth. The Gondorian forces can hold down Harad, as it seems Rohan will keep Mordor in check. The forces from Dol Amroth will stop enemy naval movements before any real damage is done.
Any suggestions on how to keep Harad from getting anywhere?
Also, I'm building Gondor's forces with a defensive theme. My basic strategy will consist of taking a region and immediately building a defensive fortress there.
I won't be too aggressive at first so as not to spread my forces too thin and risk a crushing defeat at a critical region like Osgiliath or, ahem, Anorien.

{JAMMERS! Good ONLY!} Don't spend too many troops on that, though. Send most of the troops south and east to meet Minas Morgul and Harad, and just a few to claim the western regions. Rohan and Dale with attempt to deal with Mordor as soon as they can, but we won't know when that will be until we actually start. Rohan's first priority is to block Isengard, while Dale's first priority is to deal with Rhun, and perhaps help other HQs. Hopefully Mordor won't bother you too much, but don't bet on it.
To stop Harad in the South, you need to plant troops in South Ithilien, the Crossings of Poros, or Harondor. Those three regions are in a chain, and are essentially the bridge from Gondor to Harad. If you can stop Harad somewhere along those (Poros will probably be your strongest foothold for stemming the tide), then their only options are to either move through Mordor or else up through Rhun, and then they'll be more of our problem than yours.
Sounds good. Just make sure you focus on your border regions. If you hold those, then your western lands should be relatively safe (besides, of course, from enemy navies).

Staff, we had a bit of a jammers issue in the last post. Any chance you could fix that? Thanks.

Otherwise, Moria and Dunland will probably combine to send troops through Hollin and Enedwaith into Tharbad, which Bree needs to hold. I'll also send Bree-men to the North Downs and Lone-Lands right away, so that Gundabad doesn't get any farther than Angmar. But my main focur, at least right at the start, will be to take Tharbad and reinforce Rivendell. Sound good?
As for the rest of Middle-Earth, I trust y'all know what you're doing over there.

{JAMMERS! -GOOD- ONLY!} Actually, I've been contemplating joining Bree also. I still haven't decided, but if no one else joins you, I might like a few troops from Bree. In all honesty, you're probably going to have the hardest job, holding back two HQs and three subs. Yes, make sure you get a foothold in Hollin with Rivendell, then probably use Bree-troops to take Tharbad, along with whatever is needed to cut off Angmar. You do need to send at least a few troops to the High Pass on your first move, though. MM will arrive at the same time as you, and once the map is updated, the Beornings won't arrive until the next day. Once they're there, they should be able to take over for you, and you can take your troops out to reinforce Hollin or wherever else you need. I'll attack Gundabad as soon as possible, so hopefully it won't be a threat for long. And be sure to send a few (probably not more than one or two hundred) troops throughout Eriador to claim the safer regions, as those should give you about ten thousand MWE with which to hold the area.
{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{JAMMERS! -Good- ONLY!}Any idea's? I have a plan for the north, which I will post in a bit. Or maybe tomorrow depending on how much time I have.

{Spoiler}{JAMMERS! -GOOD- ONLY!} Sounds good. My main goal will be Central Mirkwood. Given the units and strategy I have in mind so far, I don't think Tuvok will be too much of a problem. Hopefully I'll be able to secure the Vales of the Anduin and the Gladden Fields as well. If Dale makes a strong push against West Rhovanion, that would definitely force Dol Guldur to send troops to counter, making my job in Central Mirkwood that much easier. If necessary, I could also send a small force to assist the Beorning at the High Pass.
Oh, and I've been wondering - what is Dol Guldur's sub? I know the sub of the other HQs, but not theirs.
EDIT: Okay it did work that time...oh, I think I clicked BBCode and then went back to preview. That might have messed it up. Could you see if you can edit it and take out whatever isn't normally part of a jammer?
