What are the odds he had some deep backstory over being just some death stick-seller?
The guy must have been at least 20 if not 30 years old by that point. What drove him to pursue such a meaningless life? It really did need some rethinking. All I'm saying is, he probably had something tragic in his past that drove him to start using deathsticks in the first place. Gosh, I feel like I'm starting to look too far into this, I mean, I never thought about it like this before, he was just a joke, now I'm starting to feel sorry for him.
