What kind of music? What sort of music are you into?
Quite a handful of sub-genres and non-living composers. Mozart ("studying" his string quintets now) to Mahler, Bach to Bohren and the Club of Gore, Einaudi, and Hammock.
Really, I was just interested in what others might have discovered in any kind of music. I wanted to hear others speak and not myself.
Ok. My dad loves that stuff. Ever heard of Teleman?
Ok. I discovered composer called Ron Goodwin, if you've ever heard of him. His music pretty good.
Pianist here. It's great to see (talk to) a violinist. I'd really like to hear all about it, as it sounds very interesting. What sort of repertoire do you play?
Well currently, i'm just playing whatever I feel like since I don't have a teacher, but i'm going through some classical songs I was left to play. So some pop songs and classical songs.
No teacher, huh? I must assume that it must be rather difficult for you then. Are you using a teaching/teacher's book for your advancement?
What kind of classical songs are you currently working on? Is there anything that you're aiming for or you wish to play some day?

I have heard of Telemann, although I admit that his music is not quite my thing. He is a good composer, despite my personal preferences.
I had to look Ron Goodwin up, I haven't heard of him before. He seems to have some good movie suites form some good old movies. I am familiar with movie suite composers. Have you heard of Max Steiner and Korngold too?
A mixture of classical and pop. It honestly depends.
Nice! So what peices are you currently learning?
Well, i'm trying to figure out Megalovania, a song from a video game called Undertale. Then everything in Suzuki Book 2 for violin. I've been playing for like sevenish years and I haven't even finished book 2.

Pop, eh? Who's?
Yeah, we were supposed to go to this lady but never really got around to it. xP It's a bit hard, yeah. No, i'm just using a normal student book. Suzuki book 2. The entire thing. Just to be able to move on to book 3. Anyone's that I feel is good and I feel like playing.
-Hanson -Imagine Dragons -The Lumineers -Alessia Cara -Grace VanderWaal -The Smashing Pumpkins -Green Day -twenty one pilots -Led Zeppelin -The Beatles
I could continue naming artists I like, if nobody likes any of those.
I love Green Day and Imagine Dragons! I like some of Twenty One Pilots and Alessia Cara's music, and I only have heard that one song Grace VanderWaal sang on Got Talent. I like some of the songs I've heard from The Beatles and Led Zeppelin, but I don't really know many songs at all, really.
The Gorillaz, Green Day, Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, Lifehouse, 30 Seconds to Mars, The All American Rejects, Jimmy Eat World, Three Days Grace, Paramore, My Chemical Romance, Panic! at the Disco, Fall Out Boy, Muse, Staind, and Apocalyptia...
But I also like Rihanna, Britney Spears, Shakira, Sia, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Adele, Beyonce, N*SYNC, Ed Sheeran, Avril Lavigne, P!nk, Lorde, Coldplay, and Maroon 5.
My music tastes are weird, if I like a song, I like it darn it.
I also like songs from bands/singers I don't really know.
